Great seats for the money!

Nice seat but another trip to the hardware store to be able to mount it. The screws are too short. My seat base has a carve out between those white squares which allows the sear base to fit into. This does not. My fault for not looking closer.

I saw some reviews and was a little skeptical when i bought it but so far this summer it has been great. Very comfy expecially considering i was sitting on one of those throwing floatation devices before. Its not too stiff either and you can lean back a tad.If i had a newer/nicer boat i wouldnt be thrilled that the rivets for the pivots rust around the edges and on it but really its minor. Wouldnt notice it much if they werent so shiny and didnt have time on my hands eyeballing them waiting for fish to bite. Happened quickly for both chairs. I value functionality over aesthetics for my boat so i really dont care but could see how some people may.

Search for nice but two of them were off-white, and the other two were bright white

The seat looks and feels real sturdy, assembly was very easy. I waxed my seat with turtle wax ice (I wax everything). Turtle wax ICE can be put on anything. All this does is gives it a lot more protection from the elements. My only complaint is the bottom part of the seat (where your but goes) is hard, hopefully it will soften up some. I haven't had it long, but my last one lasted 12 years and the wood inside rotted. Now the inside is a special type of plastic, which will last much longer than wood. All in all I am happy with this seat, the look and feel is strong. I plan on buying a few more when my other ones give out. A lot of people are complaining about the snap on the seat rusting. All you have to do is give it a little preventative maintenance, I rub a little salt water grease on all the snaps and metal parts than wipe it with a cloth leaving just a thin film of grease. After 4 or 5 trips wipe it down with a little soap and water, rinse and put another coat of Turtle Wax (ICE) and grease the metal parts.

I bought 4 of these but decided to use only 2. I did not realize that they weren't Amazon Prime but 3rd party so I had to pay return shipping. Was quoted $60.00/chair by UPS and $40.00 by USPS. I am trying to sell them locally . My fault for not reading the fine print. Just something to be aware of.

Purchased the two of these seats to install in a 16' Tracker Panfish boat I refit.The outer appearance of the seats is good, the vinyl is molded and applied well without any creases or wrinkles.I found however; that the structural design of these seats is sorely lacking for an adult of 200 plus pounds.The base and back of the seat is made of a plastic composition and are fastened together by a metal hinge joint.The problem lies not with the metal hinge, but the plastic base.The material has very little rigidity and flexes GREATLY with even the slightest leverage exerted on it when sitting back in the seat and using the seat back for lower back support.With the seats mounted on the swiveling spider that they're intended to be used with, the seat base flexes so much that the bottom rear edge of the seat base comes into contact with with mounting structure of the boat and quickly scraped and marred the finish of the surface.As such, there is no leaning back in the seat for me at 220 pounds as it feels as if the seat will keep going backwards until something (which I suspect will be the plastic of the seat base rather than the 1/4-20 stainless steel bolts I used to fasten it) fractures.So, in short, the seats look very nice, and may be suitable for children and small adults, but are sorely lacking if the intended use is by average or larger adults.

Very good quality and comfortable. Good for your back when sitting for long periods of time. Good quality seats for the money. I would buy them again.

I ordered two of these high back seats. These are prefect for my Princecraft 17’ fishing boat. Arrived on time with no damage. The price was right. They look and feel like well made boat seats. Would recommend. Some other reviews stated that the seats bend back to far when leaning back. Not these ones.

This seat functions as it should installed it on my 14 ft Lund boat seems sturdy and well made
