First the USB ports stopped working randomly. My mouse would no longer register, then my keyboard. The HDMI plugs I use for my displays still worked so I kept using it. Well shortly after, those stopped working as well. Will not be trying again.

after some time my USB devices are not detected in the system and i need to restart my laptop to connect them back. its really annoying and not worth the price.

I use a Mac and bought a new 4k monitor as I did not want to drop a ton of $ on an a new apple monitor. I wanted a clean hub to plug my Mac as well as camera and new monitor into. This item matches the color of my mac (Space Grey) and the monitor, The hub looks modern and sleek on the desk as well. I was concerned the USB-C connection would not work on the Mac with the HDMI connection to the monitor Hub. It is actually more reliable than my older (2011) Apple Thunderbolt display!

I use this docking station every day, to handle a pretty big load. For over 10 hours every day, it easily handles several monitors, external drives, cameras, etc. It handles the heavy load without any difficulty or strain. It only gets a little bit warm to the touch, but just runs like a champ.The only thing that I might change for my personal setup would be to have all of the plug ports on one side so that they are all accessible from the same angle. This would make it considerably longer and less compact, though. It's a great docking station. I highly recommend it!

I bought this to use with my laptop from work so that I could 2 monitors. Once I finally got it to work, I am super happy with it!
