Works great for the Aerophone Pro
It's lightweight, folds down nicely, and keeps the Aerophone upright so it can drain saliva. It's not "heavy duty" but it doesn't need to be. The stand functions very well as advertised. I recall another reviewer saying the piece that extends to hold the upper part of the instrument needs to be longer. I disagree; it's plenty long because there's only a few ounces pressure on it. I find it to be a well-designed both for holding the instrument and for folding down easily and compactly. Bravo. These Aerophones are relatively fragile, lightweight, expensive instruments, and you really need to be alert to any risk to them on stage whether or not they're on a stand. I'd buy this stand again in a heartbeat.

Compatible with EWI Solo
Works well with EWI Solo which was my main concern with purchasing. The EWI Solo has a different form factor than the EWI4000/5000/USB so usually things that may list "EWI" compatibility won't necessarily work.Minor thing, when using the stand at the maximum which I do so it avoids all the EWI Solo keys there were some small scuff marks from the hold mechanism. Other than than it works and looks great.

Smile and effective
Had a few concerns about stability on first assembling it, but has proved to be sturdy and light.
