My young relative loves this jacket.
He likes his XXL Columbia gray fall waist jacket. He wore it today! On a cold fall morning. It is made of a strong fabric. It do not hold orders. It doesn’t get dirty quickly. It’s waterproof I believe. It’s a medium shade gray. Has a lining. A youthful style, waist high! Is wearing his jacket the second fall season! It is durable! He really like wearing his Columbia fall jacket!

Great jacket
Purchased this to use with taking the dogs out and for traveling Europe. Extremely lightweight, rolls up into a tight little ball/log that I secure with a rubber band for packing. Literally it fits in a shoe when rolled up. I wore this on a 10 day trip to England in Scotland– it rained every single day and I never got wet. The hood is large, but not oversized, Velcro on the sleeves to make the cups a little smaller. Overall great jacket.

Kept me dry on the outside in the London fog...
OK, this jacket did what I needed it to do. Plain and simple. It is VERY lightweight and compacts well for travel. I love the stowable hood and zippered pockets. It comes in multiple colors to suit your preference and sized well with traditional sizing. If you typically wear a large, get a large. I bought it to take with me on an overseas trip where the rain is almost guaranteed....not monsoon rain, but slow, drizzle soaking rain. It worked perfectly. The only issue I found - is that it isn't super breathable. I went on a sightseeing walk (fast paced in the early morning - not speed walking, but close), and it was like a sauna on the inside but the time i'd wrapped up my 5 miles. This was likely self-induced as I was sweating and burning some calories, but it is worth noting the ventilation is not the best.Overall, perfect for traveling or around town as a grab-n-go insurance policy - with a sporty look - for inclement weather.

Perfect
This rain jacket ended up being a good decision. I purchased a large as several reviews said they run big. I typically wear a xl. The large fit perfectly with room to spare for a hooded sweatshirt and a thin puffer jacket. I’m 6’2 and 200 lbs for reference. The other really nice aspect is the hide away hood. The hood has a nice brim which helps with anyone who wears glasses. The hood also has a nice bungee style cinch that keeps the wind from catching the hood.I haven’t had it in torrential rain yet, but see no reason why it wouldn’t perform well. The jacket is very light weight and seems like it will be a good addition to my hiking gear. Based on my short experience, I think this rain jacket was well worth the purchase and price.

Quality product
It's incredibly lightweight, making it easy to pack or carry around without feeling bulky. Despite being so light, it offers excellent protection from rain.the waterproof material works like a charm, and the attached hood provides solid coverage without limiting visibility. Its comfortable, and I love that it doesn't make me feel overheated like some other rain jackets do.

A jacket you can mush into pretty much any pocket or space
This jacket is ideal for a quick application to be able to put on the instant the rain starts to fall. It's a thin jacket so it's not for the purpose of maintaining warmth, although if you happen to be layered underneath it it will efficiently keep the warmth generated by your body & the layers in & close to your body. It's stylish & looks great with just about anything, & I like how compact it can become allowing you to essentially shove it wherever, it can even mold into a small enough bunch to successfully fit into the pocket of some cargo pants. This jacket will keep you dry up until a certain point, if you're caught in a downpour the water will eventually begin to seap in causing moisture to build up underneath the jacket, but it's ideal for light-mid rain. I live in Seattle, so I have a decent amount of rain experience using this jacket & it has held up & maintained it's color & integrity. It's also nice to make a purchase produced by a company based in the Pacific Northwest. I'm sure there are plenty of cheaper options produced by companies overseas, but they won't be of this quality & that $ is much more of a benefit when applied to your local economy. I would certainly recommend this rain jacket.
