Be prepared to assemble the press. The model i ordered does not come with a timer. The base is not the best and you will likely need to clamp it down to your work surface to prevent tipping ( I used the base from my older press). The temperature is average 20 degrees cooler than what the setting is, so buy an infrared thermometer if you desire a bit more accuracy. The platen does not in any way heat evenly. I have contacted the seller for replacement or possible refund options. UPDATE PENDING.

I really wanted this to work. Sadly, we couldn’t get it together. The instructions are horrible. The Metal plate holes do not align with the base. Could force it together but if you did that the plate wouldNot slide. Will be returning and back to theDrawing board to find a better one.

I've only had this heat press for a little under three months now, and I'm already having an issue. My fuse box is going out which causes the press to not turn on.
