Ich!
I am a long time tobacco chewer and thought I would give this a try to cut back. Just like all the other alternative chews I have tried, this is a failure. The texture is hard and gritty compared to Grizzly. It is very sweet yet hot and burnt more than tobacco. The flavor was OK. The best alternative I ever tried was made from corn silk and the texture was perfect, but the flavor was bad. I wish a tobacco user would develop an alternative that was better.

Valid Attempt
-My biggest issue with this stuff is that its very messy and gets everywhere. It did not pack well for me and when I tried to pull a wad it would just spill everywhere and was impossible to wipe off. Had to wash my hands with soap and water each time I put a lip in. I couldn't take the mess and only tried it a couple times before tossing it in the back of my truck to live. I think it's still sitting back there. I should mention that I am a little OCD so the mess may not bother others.-The flavor is almost good. Just not wasn't quite there for me.- Not cost effective at all.My advice would maybe be to mix the real stuff with this to wean yourself off the tobacco. I am an all in or all out type of person so I just had to kick it cold turkey. I was doing about 1.5 cans a day putting in some rather large wads. The first week was bad. Bit my finger nails a lot. I am on week three now. Haven't had any since the day I put it down. I even drove to the store to grab some before a round of golf and was able to talk myself out of it as I sat in the sheetz parking lot. If you want to quit then man/woman up and do it! Have some self control. It gets better.

Tastes Good But Can Use a Little Work
So, the first thing that I like about Baccoff is that they changed the look of their cans to be more realistic to what an actual dip can would look like. Upon cracking this open, I expected to get a huge blast of wintergreen smell seeing as how this is labeled as being extra wintergreen. I didn't get a huge blast. More like an average wintergreen smell. This stuff does not pinch well, but I can still manage to pack it in my lip pretty well. For the taste, the first thing I noticed is a huge blast of salt. The saltiness is more like just dipping on Copenhagen long cut. I didn't taste any wintergreen at first, after a few times of spitting, the saltiness wears off and I can actually taste the wintergreen. However, the wintergreen is not as strong as I thought it would be since it says extra wintergreen. It tastes more like an average wintergreen dip like redman or Copenhagen. That being said, it still tastes good. Having the sodium benzoate in their gives a weird ammonia taste, but not nearly as bad as their wintergreen pouches. Those taste awful. This stuff is a lot more tolerable and I taste the wintergreen more than anything else. My advice to baccoff is ditch the sodium benzoate, lower your salt levels, and for the extra wintergreen, actually put more wintergreen in there. Otherwise, I still like this product. The fine cut suits me a lot better than their rough cut. I am getting hardly any floaters with this fine cut. I am going to try their regular wintergreen next time as I heard that one tastes more like a wintergreen dip then their extra wintergreen.
