I have purchase all kind of sharpeners for my chain saws. All would sharpen the chains but were either cumberson or more trouble than really needed. Most took to many steps to get where you needed to be for the chain to even cut. This is the quickest and most easiest of anything on the market and that I have ever used. This type sharpens both the chain and levels the depth gauge tooth at the same time, both are extremely important for the chain to cut and cut well. Takes about a third of the time and the chain will cut every time as if it was a new one. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to sharpen their chainsaw and be satisfied with the cutting.

This sharpener is so easy to use and makes the job go by quick. No this isn't as quick as power sharpners but if you needed one file for the woods this is it.

I have a sharpener already and was buying another for a friend. These sharpers work great for someone who is not very accurate with a hand file. As you can tell in the pictures, the guide bars on the sharpener should rest on the teeth. (Circled in red) The OEM .325 style in the middle picture is sitting on both teeth. The new one is only sitting on the right tooth in left picture. (Hard to see in the pictures) You can see the bars are spaced further apart for a 3/8" tooth set, not the .325 it is advertised for. I see someone posted on the problem before. I thought Amazon would be sending the correct one now. This one is going back.Hard to give it an accurate rating. It works great, IF you get the correct one.

The resting bars are too far separated for .325 chain. The left is the correct guide and carried the Stihl nameThis cheaper sharpener claim to be .325 but is not and too late to return it. Save a lot of aggravation, time, and money by just buying the stihl brand
