The 9.5" (24cm) Crepe & Griddle Pan With Smooth Finish by AUS-ION is 100% made in Sydney from one seamless piece of 4mm thick Australian sheet iron. This pan has a dual role, honoring two great traditions, French crepes and American flat griddle. The slightly raised sides allow easy access and flipping. AUS-ION cookware is built to last with all of the features and details professional chefs look for in a pan: high quality, comfortable to use and easy to clean. The seamless, one-piece construction means there are no rivets, so there is nothing for food or steel wool particles to get caught in. The handles are ergonomically designed with a wide, concave shape which is more comfortable to use with better control and less hand fatigue. And the generous venting in the handle neck reduces heat transfer for a cooler handle. The pans cook like cast iron but are lighter weight, they heat evenly and will not warp. The entire pan is naturally pre-seasoned for a healthy nonstick option; It is not coated like many steel pan brands, so it arrives ready to cook, no stripping necessary. AUS-ION pans are suitable for use at high heat over any heat source. For best results, follow our instructions. To clean: after cooking, use a wooden utensil or steel wool to gently scrape pan under hot running water. It is best to clean while the pan is still very warm. If necessary, you may use a brush, but be careful not to take off too much of that beautiful seasoning that you have built up! Do not use soap, as it will erode the seasoning. Dry thoroughly with a paper towel while the pan is still warm. If the pan is still relatively new, return to the stove top and wipe the interior of the pan with a small amount of oil, heat until smoking. Then, using tongs, wipe off the excess oil.

Love crepes!!
The pan is great! All I had to do was season it, make crepe batter while the pan was warming up and then make the crepes! It was my first time making crepes and was so easy. The crepes did not stick at all to the pan. Iโve also used the pan for omelettes and tortillas. I never thought I needed a crepe pan but Iโm so glad I got this one.

Pan of a thousand uses
Heats evenly and browns food like cast iron. From scallops to pancakes, itโs the go to pan. Stovetop to oven, or under the broiler Seasons easily and cleaning is a breeze. Eggs slide like a hockey puck. YouTube has the engineers that designed the pan and they made great instructional videos to help you get started.

Ordered new but received open-box item
I ordered the crepe pan and it appears to be as described, however, I received an open box item. It was packaged in old newspaper and the information tag had previously been cut and then re-tied to the pan.

With proper initial oven and stove top seasonings nothing sticks
My second AUS Ion pan. Love it! You need to follow through with the proper initial oven and stove top seasoning otherwise everything will stick. The pan is great for omelets, quesadillas, and pancakes and whatever else I think of.

Makes the best crepes ever
Difficult to season but worth the trouble. Finally crepes come out perfect.

Doesn't hold seasoning
This pan will not hold seasoning. It comes right off after cooking with it. Tried both flax seed oil and avocado oil and they both came off.

Once seasoned cooking is a dream with this everlasting lifetime ++ pan.
Love this panHave had it for a couple of years now and following initial seasoning (that continues to improve with time ) it is non stick, uses a lower heat, pancakes , eggs slide off. Cooks a mean steak. It can be used as a lid on the other cookware. It it used indoors and outdoors very rugged and useful. No need to be precious.A solid weight not too heavy - good weight distribution.I have never found the handle to get hot unless I pop the whole pan in the ovenAlso use to make bread. This pan is perfect.

Excellent quality, takes time to season.
I love my cast iron and have lots of vintage and modern cast iron, but when it got time to replace my teflon skillets etc, I decided to go Australian made and steel. These are brilliantly made and after proper seasoning, flawless. But it will take time to do it properly.
