It's a great product... so simple, even a caveman (or me!) can use it. I was working off a Lenovo laptop that had been wiped clean by a "certified" repairman (sick joke!).So, rather than spend another spend $85 -- $115, I bought this Recovery Disc and hoped it would the computer would show signs of life.The instructions were good and I got Windows 7 installed (prior to this product, I was stuck in "Missing Boot" hell!).When I ran into a problem w connectivity and missing drivers, I emailed Eric and he responded quickly w a few suggestions and vivid screenshots. Think about that. The man responds to Q's for a $12 product. Talk about customer service!Buy the product. You have NOTHING to lose and quite possibly, lots to gain!

It works!! The tech in our city was going to charge a lot more! This DVD saved a lot of money and time.I did not take pictures of the install so will describe it;DVD comes with a color printout; 5 pages with a lot of colored pictures guiding you through every step!! Address to website, email and tech support.I had problems with my windows 7 computer after installing windows 10. I removed Windows 10 because it would not let me control my firewall, updates... After I took it out; I realized Windows 10 had goofed up my bios, drive settings... I got a black screen; says incompatible processor, drive 2 not found, lot other problems. I been studying how to fix this and had some success by watching YouTube repair videos but still could not get the computer to return to windows 7.After I bought this Windows 7 DVD on Amazon and followed the directions;some steps I had to redo as listed in the steps. The popups fomr the DVD install and pictures on the paper helped me to figure out how to set the bios;1 - I set boot to DVD/CD as first option.2 - Then after install windows 7; it had problems but it was doing something new. I followed directions and reboot, reput in the DVD...I also altered the drives (another thing the DVD popup notices and the paper with pictures, directions helped me with); I turned off some drives and enabled 2. I tried choosing from a few different versions of windows 7... (I think the DVD enables many different versions!)A few other tweaks and it works!!!! See pictures.Also; I lost my Windows 7 key but so far; this is working WITHOUT THE KEY!! Maybe it finds the key in the original factory install or later installs somewhere in the computer. Oops; now I see in the activation window; I have 30 days to activate. Will see what happens. Still great; I will probably buy a key. (Microsoft allows a 1-2 free 'rearm' to extend trial to 60 days on some software. Reinstall also resets it, like a full recovery. Might be some extra things enabled if you buy the key, and also with key you wont need to reinstall.)Yes; it has the Windows media Center.Now I can get to work with my business, customers on Skype...10 thousand stars!!!

This was pure garbage and completely worthless.Autoran fine, but the Setup64 file was corrupted and would not run. During system recovery mode, the computer would not recognize disc as a legitamate Window Disc. It figures....Completely fooled by these con-artists who manufactured this crap disc. I commend them for making me look like a fool by purchasing this product, therefore please keep my money. Well played, crooks.

Wow, it actually works perfectly! I am very impressed and certainly agree with the other reviewers per this product. The seller included copious instructions...not that I needed them!...and the process went perfectly. Of course, it does take plenty of time, and it did, to revert back from unloved Windows 10 to the "perfect OS," Windows 7! I'm very happy and definitely recommend this product and the vendor, who also offered free tech support (not needed!). The price was great, too.

This was so easy. I recommend this Fixed By Fixed Recovery disc BEFORE you make the same mistakes I made... In 2008 I purchased a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium from Best Buy. At the time the clerk burned a couple of discs for me and told me to use them if I ever had to reinstall/recover. Apparently Microsoft did not supply backups. Well, FFW to 2018. My system was scorched. That Best Buy disc was a dud, not even bootable. I tried to DL a reinstall directly from the Microsoft site, but MS did not recognize the Product ID from the back of my computer case as being "Official Widows Software", so I ended up having to pay a computer repair shop $150 to retrieve what was on the HD. I bought a new HD, but the computer repair shop couldn't save the system itself. I didn't trust anyone to install a new system that I did not own outright. So, I purchased this. I was able to use the same Windows ID number that Microsoft denied earlier, and now I have a spanky clean new "Official Windows 7 Home Premium (64)" system. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The whole thing (including time to read the included 3 pages of instructions with photos) took me about 30 minutes. I didn't have to call for help, but if I DID, the contact info for Fixed-by-Fixed is printed right on the envelope and on the enclosed instructions. The only extras I had to re-install after the system was done installing were a new email program (Thunderbird), new virus protection (Malwarebytes), and the latest graphics drivers from Toshiba. If you have a similar issue, first check your harddrive, then BUY THIS CD. READ the instructions fully before you start, and follow them to the letter. You can't go wrong. BTW, I am an Apple user, but I had to fix this computer for the person I originally bought it for, so basically I knew nothing going into this.
