I’m on my second roll as I reach for this every time I unsolder something. I have three other smaller desoldering braids in my shop but they don’t work nearly as well even if dipped in flux. Highly recommended

Harder to use than a vacuum pump, but great for the tight spots.

My new go to. This stuff does exactly what it's supposed to do. Makes the previous stuff I was using look like garbage. The weave pattern is extremely consistent. Wets super easy, and eats solder like it's starving.

I'​ve used a couple of brands of solder wick, and this is certainly the best I've used. I gave up on others long ago.

The wick works well, but it's really narrow. Any large joints ste hard to pull enough solder up to remove the part. Maybe things will improve once I get the liquid solder flux ive ordered. I did successfully pull 5 power transistors the other night with no problem & no overheating. The heatsinks were as problem though. I think the low temp solder i ordered will help there as well and perhaps the thinness of the wick wont be an issue any more

funziona veramente bene, assorbe tutto lo stagno ed anche su stampato doppia faccia e fori metallizzati si svuota tutto, rimane qualche piccola incollatura nel foro ma risolvibile, la trecciola di più non può fare

Tried this stuff and it works great! I'm using it to clean up some fine/small solder work (micro drone flight controllers and the like....). This stuff works great, the solder flows nicely and I don't need to worry about heating up the board too much when I use it.

Does exactly what it was designed for 🙂

Im Vergleich zu all den Billiglitzen ist diese um Längen besser: kein Ausfransen, weil richtig gut verwoben.

Cat#442 works like a dream - but the longer length Cat#462 was useless. Instead of flowing along the braid it would at best blob. Returned for refund and I will stick with 442 in future.
