My son is joining the Marines. I wanted to give my young man something practical that he will always use as he begins his life's journey, and my son has a unique taste for fine things. My father, who was in the military, always kept a durable, real-leather bag similar to this one that his mother sent him off with. Sixty years later, he still has and uses it. It has always been by the sink with his shaving items, cologne, and toothbrush and tootpaste. When he goes on trips, it goes with him always. This bag is of the same vintage, durable leather style-just what I was looking for! It is high-quality leather, yet has a soft feel and a well-polished dye that my son really likes. The zipper is strong. It has two compartments on top, plus another zippered area on the side, that actually holds everything a person would need it to, while still being nicely compact and simple to pack & carry (the sturdy strap is nice, too). For my young Marine, I needed a gift he'd be able to use in the close quarters of a barracks. The bag arrived quickly and was packaged so nicely that I could see the pride of the manufacturer, and it elicited pride to gift it. After researching, then holding the bag, then seeing my son's reaction, I would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates fine but practical things.

I had looked online for a replacement for my husband's travel bag he had had for years. He wanted one like he had with out side pockets and divided areas inside. This was a beautiful bag, lots of room and storage areas. Came very compacted but opened up beautifully.

I like the leather quality and the convenience of having two separate compartments. This was a gift for my boyfriend and he found it to be an excellent upgrade from his single-compartment washbag. The only thing that struck him as kind of odd is that the logo has a unicorn on it.
