Good fit.
Fit well, 10 1/2 is 10 1/2 . I can’t ware Nike they run to narrow. Wore them for 6 hrs cleaning up the property to break them in (not needed) . Vary comfortable .

Great boots
This is my 3rd pair of GTX Moabs. I get about 3 years out of them before the GTX membrane inside gives out and I start getting wet feet. I like these because they are durable, waterproof, and light weight.

Great Boots - Poor Insoles
Horrible, paper thin insoles is my only complaint. They actually use that as part of their marketing photos for the heel “cushion” (note the blue oval in heel pics). That blue oval is paper thin.First of all I bought these for work which includes working in the office and spending time walking and standing on a concrete floor of the factory.I am a Merrell fan but after wearing these for a day by the end of the day my feet were killing me. I recall some reviews complaining about the insoles so I ordered some replacement insoles. I wore them again while awaiting my insoles to arrive and same results. After replacing the insoles they were perfect at the end of the day to the point I didn’t need to immediately remove the boots and give my dogs a rest.I am confident these would be great for hiking too. Were it not for the poor insoles these would be 5 stars!

Great waterproofing
I do wish I got a wider fit because my small toes are rubbing pretty good, so that might be my fault, but the waterproofing is fantastic, went hiking today after a good rainstorm the day before, going though deep mud, and stepping in flooded water and I can feel the cold from the water, but my socks are still dry, I'm assuming the gore-tex is the liner inside the shoe, awesome shoes.

Comfortable out of the box
A very nice pair of boots! Comfortable and waterproof. Ran through 3 days of intense milsim with no issues. Don't expect good performance on stony terrains though. You need something more appropriate and heavy-duty for that.

Love the Moab 2 - Mid Gortex Hiking boot
Really like my new Moab 2 Mid Gortex hiking boot. I had the Moab 2 ventilator but I wanted a waterproof boot and something with a bit more ankle support. So far these have been great keeping my feet dry, with good support and they are still a nice light boot.

Update 6 months in - split and letting in water in light rain - Good sturdy walking boots
I’ve been wearing these for a couple of months now and the boots have been excellent. Plenty of walking through wet grass and mud and so far they’ve kept my feet dry.I was used to a boot with one more lace loop but I’m used to these now. For some reason I need to adjust the tongue on the right boot every time I put it on to avoid it digging into the top of my foot. If I do that they’re comfy - longest walk I’ve done in them is about 10k - and no issues.I had no issues with breaking them in which I can’t say with all boots I’ve worn.Update : Initially I liked these boots but after six months they have split badly and now leak in walks through wet grass and I end up with soaking wet feet. In my opinion not worth the money. I had a pair of boots from Decathlon at half the price that lasted 18 months doing similar walks. I am going to attempt to return but am not confident of getting anywhere. I might be unlucky but I’d say avoid these boots.

Great boot, would recommend
After 3 winter months of heavy walking everyday, these are the best hiking shoes ones I’ve bought yet.I needed my own insoles but other than that, super comfy. They’re fairly warm for what they are. Goretex is amazing.Toe cap ripped after 2 months but is still waterproof!
