Love this. Super helpful for good posture
I love this thing. I saw someone post a video using a strap & decided to order one myself.I never realized I needed this so badly! It helps me hold my euphonium in the correct spot for better posture & in turn, better breathing and playing! I love it. Also just makes it more COMFY to hold.

Not comfortable to keep your hand during rests
I sort of like this but then during a concert I didn't take my hand out of it to rest it plus turning euphonium on its side on my lap put pressure on my fingers. My hands sometimes hurt after using it. I kept trying to figure out how to make it more comfortable but I finally gave up. It might work well for others.

Awesome!
I didn't know I needed this until I tried it. Wow, it really makes holding the horn up easier. I didn't realize I was using a lot of grip strength to hold it up, even while sitting and resting on my lap. This strap lets you use your larger arm muscles to hold the horn rather than your fingers and hands. And I think it will also help a lot while marching, even though I have a neck harness. I might even try without the harness and see if I need it any more. You can't see it in the pictures, but I have the strap wrapped around the horn just below a brace so that it doesn't slide up when I holding it. That puts my hand in the perfect position for the 4th valve. Rock steady.
