This REALLY works.
Arrived very quickly. It was very easy to put together after washing all the parts as instructed. I used the mincer with the medium plate in and it worked brilliantly. In the instructions, it states to mince through 3 times, well in my opinion it worked fine just once. I mince sirloin beef and lamb which I was able to vacuum pack and freeze.I think this product would also be great for vegetables, making veggie burgers or veggie sausages, plus, if you want minced onions, this will be great.I wish I had brought this earlier as every 3 months I buy bulk meat so this is going to be very very handy.

OK for it's Price but could be better.
Needs attention to detail at manufacture as the Feed Screw is wobbly which causes the Feed hopper to rock slightly in use. Machine works well enough but with a balanced feed screw it would be perfect.

Decent performance to cost ratio
For the cost this grinder works well, however it's worth adding some further detail. A lot of the reviews talk about grinding up bone-in chicken thigh for dog food however I purchased this unit based on being an amateur home sausage maker looking to up his game a bit.The grinder itself is fairly simple to use and quite intuitive. The 'drive shaft' is metal and so is the screw, blade and tubing which is why I picked it and paid slightly more over others that had plastic. The only plastic on this unit (that I could see without taking it apart) is the housing over the motor. It comes with 3 appropriately sized plates which are perfect for sausage making and cleans easily enough. (see below)The reason I've not rated this product higher is it's performance on meats other than chicken. Yes, it cuts through chicken like butter. I've not tried grinding bone as I've no interest in bonemeal in my sausage. With pork and beef the usual advice for sausage making is to get the meat partially frozen as colder meat grinds better. This unit does struggle with partially frozen meat and the speed of grind slows and the pitch of the motor indicates it's struggling. When this happens the blade begins to warm up and post grind you can see a lovely grease stained smear of fat that sat around the base of the blade. It doesn't ruin the meat quality but it is annoying to clean after and if you wanted to grind more than a kilo you'd need to disassemble and clean mid-way through. The biggest 'fall down' point for this grinder is when you try to put the meat through for a second grind through a more fine plate. It just does not work. If you're doing an emulsification just go straight for the smallest plate and work up the protein bond by hand after.Overall I'm not upset I bought this machine at this price at the minute, however with continued use if the machine still struggles and breaks within 12 months I'd be annoyed.

Inadequate instructions and details I’ve sent it back
Very noisy! It would’ve been nice to have some kind of reference as to what things are used for because there are things in there, I have no idea what they are for or what they go with to make things work properly, I tried making sausages but it was a bit of a mess I thought to be honest. I think one of them things I have no idea what they thought should’ve been used as well as the funnel.
