U would think for 8 buck they would be a POS but no they are well bultholes charge well and can be used for trimming they really are a great clipper for cutting hair and trimming it

I have tested and reviewed a lot of clippers recently. And I've found that most of them are made by a handful of companies, and offer pretty interchangeable performance. This clipper set is the Shinon model SH-1971 (despite the brand it's listed under).As a result, when a clipper comes along that stands out a bit, it makes an impression. This clipper impressed me with a larger battery, adjustable speed (5000-7000 rpm in 500 rpm increments), and the ability to charge using a USB-C cable (not included). It also comes with heavier weight clipper length guards that may last longer without breaking.A summary of the parts in this kit:** Clipper with metal case, adjustable head gap (1mm to 2.1mm), LCD with charge, time left, and rpm readouts** Clipper powered by substantial 2000 mAh battery, which provides about 3 hours operation** 4 premium plastic length guides, black** A small cleaning brush** A small cleaning brush** A charging cable** Charging time 3 hours. Provides over four hours use at 5000 rpm.** InstructionsNot included:** Clipper oilFunctionally, there's nothing incredibly different here, but the clipper and the length guards both feel better made than cheaper clippers. I also like that the while the head on these clippers is wide enough that you could use it to cut hair on the top of your head, the clippers are gapped at only 1mm, which means they are also useful for cleaning up body hair (back of neck, elsewhere). With a full charge, they are rated for 250 minutes of run time at 5000 rpm and 190 minutes at 7000 rpm. Honestly, I can't imagine anyone not using the fastest rpm speed unless you're stuck on a desert island with no chance of ever being able to recharge again! That said, those are super long run times on a charge--certainly enough for any travel use. Note that you can charge these using a standard USB-C cable (not included), which is nice. You can also charge them with the included cable, which plugs into the alternative "prong" charging port.Although the instruction booklet suggests it is included, in fact, clipper oil is not in the kit, so you'll need to buy some. It's a bit annoying they didn't include any, consdiering that this is priced as a premium product.Summarzing, this is a nice shaver.
