VEVA HEPA Filters Compatible with Coway Airmega AP-1512HH - 2 Pack HEPA Air Purifier Filters with 8 Charcoal Pre-Filters compatible with Coway Airmega 200M Air Purifier

I purchased these for my Coway filter. It has the precise amount for a year. I write the date I swap out the main and pre-filter from the box and then quarterly for the charcoal pre-filter. This is exactly what is needed for the Coway that I have. Fits precisely.

With the OEM filter packs you get a carbon oder filter and a hepa filter in each pack. The carbon filters lose their effectiveness way before the hepa ones become clogged. This kit has a more useful ratio.

This was my first go at replacing the Charcoal filter for this air purifier. Once I found the release button on the front of the unit, I saw the pre-screen filter had done its job--it was covered in a thick layer of dust like dryer link. I removed this (yuck...) washed the pre-screen and popped in into the sun to dry briefly. Meanwhile, I tossed the used black carbon filter (didn't appear nearly as grisly as the prescreen) and replaced it with a new one from VEVA. It fit easily. I forgot about the prescreen, but knew something was amiss because I couldn't reset the Coway. I opened the unit back up and examined the white HEPA filter. It did contain some visible particles. Once I got all three pieces back in--prescreen, new carbon filter and the HEPA filter, I turned the machine back on and the filter warning light had reset itself (gone off.) The quality of the VEVA filters appeared equal to the OEM in every respect, and I like having everything I need at-the-ready, even though the delivery thru Amazon was very speedy.

Really good quality replacement filter for your Coway unit. The VEVA replacements fit perfectly into the unit with no gaps or overages. I carefully compared the VEVA filter to my originals and the quality is definitely inline with Coway (at half the cost). The VEVA charcoal odor filters actually seem to be a better quality than the originals with a much higher visible content of charcoal. The photos I've attached are of the Coway unit with the VEVA replacement filter and original Coway filter (being removed) below it. You can definitely see how much yuck this Coway unit removed from my air in the 6 months of use. I was pretty disgusted seeing what the filters removed and am very happy to find a good quality, affordable replacement. Definitely putting these on auto order when VEVA chooses to allow it.

I bought two different air filters Veva and Durabasics to compare to the original Coway. While I have no way of testing their effectiveness at filtering air, there are basic differences you can see just by looking at them.Coway: The original Coway filters are by far the best fit. The pre-filers fully cover the screen and the HEPA filter fits perfectly into the machine. However, they are the most expensive and only include ONE pre-filter with the original machine (why do they do this even though they recommend changing the pre-filter every 6 months?!)Veva: These came in a close second to the Coway originals. The pre-filter is slightly too short on one side. The HEPA filter does fit into the machine but slightly bends at the sides. This doesn't bother me enough to return and I'll be keeping these. I'd recommend these to someone looking to spend less than the original, but not to someone who wants TOTAL HEPA filtration. If you really need that, go with the Coway originals.Durabasics: I can't recommend these. The charcoal pre-filter came bent and doesn't fit the screen; it was actually too wide on one side and buckled against the screen. It was also slightly too short on the other side. Yes, I did put it in both ways to make sure it was the right way up. The HEPA had the WORST fit of the three. There was a noticeable gap along the top after inserting it into the machine. NOTHING ever said HEPA, not even on the filter itself.TLDR: Go with Coway if you want 100% filtration and fit. Go with Veva if you're okay with a slightly off fit, lower price, and possibly a lesser filter. Durabasics you should pass on.

I had a choice between these and the OEM. I took the chance on being thrifty since it looked like everything was the same as the OEM but you just get more carbon filters and the complete price point is less. They are the EXACT SAME AS THE OEM. Dont waste your money paying for the expensive OEM. These are IDENTICAL.My boyfriend has this same purifier at his home and since he has more money than me and doesn't have to watch his money he bought the OEM. We were on the phone buying them at the same time. I told him to buy these but he wouldn't. When everything came in the mail. We compared. He is ordering these from now on!!

updated review :VEVA has great customer service. turned out that i’ve received the manufacture defected item so they sent out a new one for me and it definitely way better than i’ve thought! thanks so much . Again, this is a great bargain. i’m so glad i purchased this in the first place .i purchased this because of the price value. however the carbon prefilters seems off.. they are not even . 8 carbon filters yet none of the are the same size . it doesn’t fit perfectly in my cowan machine. there’s stillsome gap .. i was going to return but keeping it because of the great deal

I've been using Veva filters for a few years now and have ordered 6 of these so far. I have 3 Coways around the house and these are perfect fit. The carbon filters trap a lot of grease in the Coway that we have near the kitchen, so I replace the carbon filters more frequently on that one so the extra carbon filters do come in handy. These look and feel as substantial as the Coway filters at about half of the cost. I wish they were cheaper but more economical than the alternative.
