Penny Dreadful

I loved getting to see the motivations of Vanessa ives and how much she truly has so many layers to her. Even if you've seen all the seasons and know what happens and why, the art is something to enjoy and appreciate.

I really enjoyed this. The story and the art were great (though, the art was a little too dark to make out what was going on unless you really stared at it at times... Not bad, just a personal thought). Would highly recommend if you liked the TV series. I can't wait to read the next compilation!

I am loving the story. I wanted to read it before watching the series and the origin material is often so much richer than what makes it to film. Can't wait to read the next. Read the liner notes at the end, so insightful.

A bit dark, but that befits the series, setting, and victorian London. Not much new, or surprises, I guess I'll like the sequel better.Drawings is a bit edgy.

Sólo si eres muy fan de la serie. Me gustó más el arte de la portada que la de la historia que de alguna manera me recuerda al de Dave McKean y Rafael Albuquerque. La trama predecible. Esperaba un poco más.

Muy contento con el producto, me parece un comic excepcional, cualquier amante de la serie deberia comprarselo sin pensarlo.

Bought this directly from Amazon AU. Just received this morning. But seems to not a brand new item. The book feels had been touched many times. Not as new as the one I bought from other website. Only like a second hand book in very good and acceptable condition. now I have to use antibacterial wet wipes to clean it.
