Excellent upgrade to replace eMMC in Dell Latitude 3310
I picked up some old stock Dell Latitude 3310 laptops for cheap, but they came with horrendously slow eMMC storage. I found these and thought I'd give them a try. They worked great and made the laptops feel so much faster! Storage capacity is as advertised. No complaints from me!

Works for steam deck and made ot load faster than with 64gb
Works great. I used it on steam deck easy to install and obviously there is not much else to say other than it works. I have a lot of skhynix sdds and they are all good. Tho if you are installing on steam deck just two things to point out 1.- that apparently the wifi cable runs just under the ssd area and i had a few issues and had to reset a few times to get wifi to work again probably knocked it about a bit and if you are also installing it on a steam deck its not as simple as just download on a usb stick and reinstall there is a process that you have to go through so the deck recognizes the file using rufus 2.0 app nothing to do with the ssd itself but i wish i knew before i started so just a heads up

Good steam deck upgrade
I haven't had a chance yet to check data speeds or really put it through its paces, but so far so good.Installation wasn't too bad for a newly purchased 64gb steam deck. There's plenty of how-to vids on youtube. If you've ever done phone surgery, this SSD install is easier. Comparable to popping open the bottom panel of a laptop to work on the innards. I ended up flashing the OS from a mircoSD card. Most installations recommended a USB C thumb drive which I didn't have so I took a shot with a 32gb microSD card and didn't run into any problems.I ran into some minor snags with the OS install so this review may help some. The initial boot/"Black" install screens went through without problems. A couple times when it got into the steam OS to do an install it gave me some errors, but I kept retrying and it went through after a few attempts. The bigger problem I ran into was the final OS install/update while in Steam OS. The install status bar kept making it to almost the end but then go back to the beginning. After it did this a few times I figured something was wrong. Fortunately, there was a comment in the youtube vid comments section that saved the day. If this final install endless loop happens, turn off the deck completely and then get to the boot menu (I wanna say power up and vol up button at the same time, maybe vol down), then go to boot drive options. There's two options for sk hynix with long alphanumeric designations. Just pick the one WITHOUT the steamOS title in it (I think it was the 2nd one for me). After that the final install went fine. The commentator that saved me also reported using a sk Hynix (512 gb version), so maybe this is a sk Hynix quirk. In the end I had I think 222gb free space, although I wonder if there's a leftover partition from the install that I can remove. I got this drive when it dropped to $20. Even at $35, this is a steal compared to the extra $130 you have to pay to get the 256gb model from steam.

Make for a great travel drive
I paired this with a small 2230 enclosure and a type-c male-male adapter and now have an extremely fast 256GB thumb drive. At 2" by 1.1" it's extremely pocketable and it's nice to have fast external storage this size on the go.Drive works great and hits advertised speeds, it comes completely unformatted though, which I could see confusing some folks.

Died after 1+ month
This drive was starting to exhibit signs of failure after 1 month. It would not mount my root partition on PfSense. After a reinstall of the OS, it worked but any time a change was "written"/saved to the drive, the machine locked up and rebooted. This has been fixed with a new drive. Have not checked power on hours to see if it was used on arrival. I doubt it was new or I just got a defective unit.
