worth it

10 months old, needs to breathe. Taste like old cheese right when you open the seal. Taste better three days later drenched on pizza with peppers. Yum. It is an acquired taste, like wine.

I am concerned with the color being a light brown, in color. Will not open. last jar was a dark brown.First two bottles were the light yellow of parmesan cheese. Very disappointed in the product. Will nottake another chance with it.

I’m not convinced this was worth the high price. It’s fine for what it is.

Milano's Parmesan Cheese arrived early, just as my supermarket brand ran out. I opened the new 1-lb jar immediately, full of curiosity as there have been a few questionable reviews mentioning no smell and lack of flavor.As soon as I unsealed the jar, I could smell the fresh aroma of grated parmesan, and I couldn't wait until I needed it later today, so I tasted it. Surprise, surprise: it had a rich, freshly grated parmesan taste.The bonus advantage: because of the larger 1-lb Jar (plastic), it has a wide-mouthed black pour or shake-it-out lid. Wonderful.I use parmesan as part of a conservative paleo eating habit with minimal fat, salt or worthless starches. Instead of using grated cheese, I sprinkle the parmesan over the taco meat as I make tacos on the stove-top grill instead of using regular grated cheese. This saves calories and helps minimize the consumption of fat and sodium without losing the cheese flavor.I'll move happily move this to my monthly subscribe-and-save order.

Really good tasting cheese ,just wish the best by date was bigger easier to read ,Because even Though comes shipped and sold by Amazon ! Last 3 times sent Cheese with dates of Best by Of 12/15/2021 !

Contents were almost a brown color and appeared to be wet .. I did not open the seal to check.
