This cutting board is beautiful and thick. It's big and thick and comes with nonstick stickers. I particularly love that it has the groove around it to catch liquid so that I don't end up with a wet counter. I've gone ahead and ordered the whole set so that I can have separate boards for meat, veg, fruit, onions, bread...

Nice looking board, no flaws, no annoying label/engraving. I've been working some vegetable oil into it to treat the wood, and it's become a nice array of rich darker brown tones, a bit darker than the pictures. It's not super hard wood and scratches more easily than an expensive board, but for the price it's great.

I have a an extra sharp Santoku knife from Tokyo that I didn’t want to ruin on a low quality board. After a year’s worth of meals, this board has almost no visible cut marks. I use this board exclusively for raw meat cutting, and we have a different style from the same seller for veggies and cooked meat. Both are great but this board is the better of the two.That said, I do take good care of the cutting board by treating it regularly with cutting board oil and a top coat of cutting board wax. Also any liquid from cutting is wiped up immediately afterwards. I have never washed the board with water, instead we give it a wipe down with a slightly damp paper towel, then a dry towel. Anything beyond that is unnecessary and risks ruining your board.I suspect most (maybe not all) reviewers experiencing warping did not know how to take care of a wooden board.Also, I do agree with the comment about the black rubber padding making marks on quartz. We experienced that with our veggie board and for that reason we didn’t install them on this board.

The first board I got looked beautiful but it smelled like pvc!! I tried to wash it but it still smells like a chemical. So I returned it. Then customer service from the company emailed me and sent me another board. This one only had a little smell but had a deep scratch. They said just to keep it or donate it and sent me another one for free. This one didn’t smell after I deep cleaned it with salt and lemon. It’s a beautiful cutting board. Very nice company.

Here is my experience, it may or not apply to you. Please see others' comments and make your own judgment.The cut board is beautiful, love that color, the form factor was perfect and the quality looks awesome. It was as advertised, and came with a couple of sticker pads you can put under it so that it moves less and stick on your counter-top. I liked that idea.But, my board warped in less than two months. I have used it the same way as my previous one which lasted years but I am unclear if it was made of the same type of wood. As such, it may have been that I did not take care of the cut board properly.I was sent a replacement promptly, so great support, yet the 2nd board showed the same issues, as such, It could be that related to how I treated the board during my use, I am no expert in that area. I did try to be more careful and such.The black stickers/pads they provide to put under the board left are marked on my Quartz counter top, as such, I recommend you be careful to test it in an area that is a little hidden like a corner, before applying it on your cut board. The board was stable enough without the pad, so I simply removed them and used the board without, and I had a no issue at all.Based on my own experience, I am not happy with the purchase, since I didn't expect to have to deal with the above for such type of a product given my previous cut board that lasted years without much care or fuss.Overall, I am not that happy about my purchase because my past experience shows that the cut board could be used without care for years, yet that seems not to be applying to all of them and I definitely was not expecting the above.Note that since I posted these comments, I have received many annoying emails asking to remove these comments from many different generated email address. As such, I am not happy at all ...
