I’m almost embarrassed by how much I love this water filtration device but the design is absolutely unmatched and it works like an absolute dream. I hesitated based on other reviews mentioning leaking but this thing is so well designed I can’t quite figure out how a leak would be possible. The setup is pretty foolproof and clear, and quick.I originally bought this for some dramatic alocasia houseplants I keep that will shift into yellow at the first drop of tap water. I was sick of waiting for my brita filter to drip enough water to water all my plants and this does the trick and then some — it’s everything I never knew I wanted in a water filter.The ease of use and convenience!! I have it setup right next to my sink so when it’s empty I just flip the top up and spray water directly into the reservoir from my hose attachment. I have taken the reservoir off the base to refill it and that is also super easy and convenient! The water reservoir just snaps into place once you align it with minimal pressure. There’s even a little handle to carry it to the sink and back.The filtration is instant. It is so so fast!! It comes out of the spout at the same speed as a quarter to a half turn of a regular faucet.The button allows you to control exactly as much water as you want on alternatively a continuous, manual hold of the button or with one of the 3 pre-programmed amounts to dispense (it’s in the manual fyi but eg if you press the button 4 times it’ll dispense half of a full reservoir/ 3 times it’s half of that/ etc). The auto dispense options are super convenient for filling the tea kettle or watering can.The taste: this is probably the most unanticipated aspect — the taste is incredible. Way better than my Brita!! By a mile. I intend to use my current brita until the end of its cycle but after than I won’t be replacing it. I plan to use this for drinking water as well as watering plants even if I’ll have to replace the filter more frequently.I’ll end on this— I was skeptical of all the glowing reviews and I’m here to confirm they are all accurate. This is my favorite Amazon purchase of 2022. You won’t be disappointed.

Updating my review 12/24 It’s been almost two years since purchasing in 1/23 and still LOVE my rocean and have recommended it to so many people already. The water tastes amazing and the filters are very economical, and Always available since I’ve owned it. The filters are reasonably priced compared to other brands and You can save money by purchasing them through subscribe and save. I only go through two filters per year but that’s filtering everything,…lots of water to drink, including coffee water, and water for cooking too. Even if I went through 3 filters a year due to higher water use, it’s still more economical than reverse osmosis systems, and a heck of a lot easier to care for. Thinking about getting a 2nd one for my primary bathroom so that I don’t have to a water pitcher upstairs anymore. Again, rocean IS WITHOUT A DOUBT one of the BEST PURCHASES I EVER MADE. This product is engineered to perfection and so easy to use, even the packaging deserves an award!I had tried two different pitcher type of filters recently and a brand new fridge filter but none of them tasted good. And while the 0 filter tasted good on day 1, it lasted less than 2 weeks before it started tasting funny and their tester indicated it was time to replace. And it feels much better knowing that the rocean is removing 10x the contaminants, with a filter that can last up to 390 gallons.After having many under sink ROMO devices (reverse osmosis) over the years, I now believe this to be a much better option. 1. Because it doesn’t require a hole in the countertop for a mini faucet. 2. It doesn’t take up a ton of space under your sink for a big holding tank and multiple filters with tube’s running everywhere.This product works great for both home and office, and also works well in a bedroom or a bathroom too. It does need to be near an outlet to plug into, but not necessarily a sink. The design of the water reservoir has a hidden handle you can’t see until you lift the lid, which makes it easy to carry to a faucet for filling. Or you could recycle your old countertop pitcher (after throwing away the filter) to fill it up. At first I was thinking of saving the old pitcher for road trips, but this product is super portable and works so much better, so why not just take this?And if you have friends or family that may have medical conditions (like arthritis) that hampers their ability to pick up heavy pitchers, this product is ideal for them. Think about it…with those pitchers you’re not only picking up the weight of all that water, you’re also picking up a water logged filter. Those pitchers are Bulky and Heavy…even for a strong healthy person.I also love the gel type pad they give you to put under the water faucet spout. And Not a drop of water comes out the spout after you release the button.I give this product 5+ stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The water system works well, changes mineral rich and foul tasting california faucet water into something great tasting. The filter life is likely not what it is reported to be as i drink 2-4 gallons per day and have had to replace filters 3 times in the past year, slightly short of the reported filter capacity. When it came time to replace the filters recently i have scoured the internet and called the company Pentair, NO REPLACEMENT FILTERS ARE AVAILABLE. You will buy a $250 unit and it will be worthless in 6 months becuase there is no way to buy replacements! This should be a required consumer notification. Pentair said there will be units for sale starting in september, but who knows as this is not the first time filters have been off market. Bottomline, spend your money elsewhere on a system you know will have replacement filters availble
