This is the best coffee I’ve ever had... pricy but worth it. Was recommended by ‘Dr Mindy’, an intermittent fasting and diet doctor who has a popular YouTube channel... she recommended it because it’s free of many toxins and molds that can be present even in expensive organic brands... and therefore lacks the bitterness often present when drinking coffee black.... I’m not sure if it’s because it’s shade grown or not, but this is one of the few coffees I can drink black and actually still enjoy it... so smooth and rich... I love a string cup of joe, but brewing other coffees to be stronger quickly make them bitter, while this lacks the bitterness... one final thing... my girlfriend works for a pediatric surgeon... who is a coffee aficionado... she gave him a sample and he said it was the best HE’S had! I order regularly now! Tried a few variations, the are all great.

I don't write Amazon reviews too often, but given these guys only have 1 review for this coffee I felt as though I must. It's simply amazing. As a Seattle-native, I've had a lot of coffee in my time. I personally hate Starbucks' burnt beans, and every time I try out a new cup of Joe, I always seek out a brand that's smooth as a cup of coffee or compliments milk in an espresso rather than fighting with it while the milk attempts to tame the terrible bitterness that ensues.This coffee is the embodiment of smoothness. I've had their darker roasts a couple times and they were still smooth, delicious cups of coffee. This light roast, however, may be my favorite. I can't even begin to describe the flavor. It doesn't leave that bitter after taste in your mouth. The chocolate notes are present though very subtle. It's a delicious coffee, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for organic, shade-grown, fair trade coffee.

Good coffee, since I mistakenly ordered ground coffee it is impossible to asses the quality of the bean. 4 stars because I have had better flavor from Papua New Guinea producers. Overall good value, just not what I am looking for.

I accidentally ordered ground coffee and was super upset. I don’t believe in writing bad reviews because we all make mistakes from time to time and small business need all the help they can get. But I did leave a VM and this wonderful lady promptly returned my call and was so kind and patient that it completely shifted my mood. I highly recommend this company and she was right, their ground coffee is super fresh and tasty!

Let me start by saying I haven't been a coffee drinker. I had a cup of coffee three decades ago and it gave me such indigestion I never tried it again until recently I started experimenting. Most coffees still give me indigestion, but this one sits very nicely with me and I love the flavor.We tried both the medium and light roast in this bean. My wife has been drinking coffee all her life, and thought she would like the medium roast better, but keeps picking the light roast in multiple side-by-side tests (aka, keeps stealing my brew).

I was so excited to find an organic shade grown LIGHT roast coffee bean.However , once I opened the bag all the excitement changed to disappointment. This supposed light roast is darker than my medium roast. To make matters worse the company says you can return if not satisfied however Amazon does not give an avenue to return. Writing to the company it says it must be returned through Amazon since it was purchased there. Catch 22Very disappointed!!

This coffee is smooth, rich, great flavor! And i know I am drinking healthy coffee. I have had expensive coffees but they do not even compare. I will be a long time customer.

I like the fact there was a roast date stamped on the bag ,and that it arrived sooner than the expected delivery date. The coffeee was good and I could tell it was fresh by how the coffee acted during the brewing process. Over all good experience with this coffee.
