Velour CD Player Top Loading with FM Radio USB Aux-in Clock Alarm and 1.2 Inch Red LED Display (Black)

Velour was half the price of the same product under the name dpnao with a gift certificate. I like that. I like the small size and remote control. Wish it had AM readio. However, very pleased with it. That is why I bought a second one after the first one.I find the directions a little hard to understand. If there had been a costumer service number on the second one I ordered it would have helped. I returned it because I could not get it to work. Maybe it was because I had something set wrong. Anyway, both I have now are working fine, and I am a happy 4.5 star customer now.

I purchased this clock/CD player to replace a similar unit that finally died after years of service. It is not the easiest thing to use and when doing the initial set-up I was beginning to wish I had a degree in electrical engineering. The instructions lack clarity and I still haven't figured out if I'm turning the CD player on correctly because there seems to be a lot of button pushing. The clock numbers are large so no problem reading them and (fortunately) there is a dimmer for them. I think once I get used to using it (or complete an electrical engineering degree) It will be OK.

I just received this Velour CD Player FM Clock Radio. This is a compact unit with good audio and CD playback. I found it easy to set up. It has a battery backup. The unit is lightweight plastic. I like the little remote that comes with it! The reason I only gave it 4 STARS is that there is no AM radio (only FM) and no warranty that I can find. I think it's a little pricey with no AM or warranty. Once I've used the unit for a while, I will revise my review, if needed.

The features do work after a learning curve. The remote is much easier to use than the buttons on top of the player. I use it to play CDs and USB memory sticks sending the signal over headphone wires to a BOSE radio which has a failed CD player. It was hard to find a basic CD player that could serve this purpose and sit on top of the BOSE.I wish the lid gave more feedback to let you know when it is properly closed.

Seems to work well. My biggest challenge was in setting the clock. It finally gave in and did what the instructions said it should do. The sound is good. I read a review that it was not the best appearing and I agree with that but as long as it keeps playing I will enjoy the small size that sits on my headboard nicely.

Easy listening. Not easy rewind. Hard to "book mark". You can go from chapter to chapter, but sometimes you need to skip back and forward to reach specific repeats. I don't think is good for this disk with the bouncing rewind. The buttons are very clear cut for music. Nt so clear cut for books. I would still recommend it.

This item had all the features we were looking for...radio with good reception and sound quality, could wake to radio playing followed by an alarm that began quietly and then increased in volume, CD player (!), and easy to read numbers.After much searching, we thought this was 'a keeper'! Unfortunately, after only having the unit a short time, the CD player refused to work. Thankfully, we had purchased the optional protection plan, and we were able to return the item.

Ive had a challenge setting up this cd-clock radio. Still can't set the alarm. too complicated.Never had problems with the other I had.Bonnie Fanale
