Appearance
The media could not be loaded. My 5 year old grand daughter is learning about the planet system in her school. She loves space and stars and wants to become an astronaut. I gave this Star Projector Astronaut Light as a gift to her and she is so happy with it. The first best thing is it’s appearance. She kept it in her bedroom and shows to every one who visits our house. She is able to operate it with the remote easily. Multiple light mode selection is interesting. The main feature is that we can rotate the astronauts helmet which has the laser on it. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries which they should have included. I am mentioning it because, as the batteries were not ready at home she had to wait for a day to see it in action. On the whole it is a nice gift for of any age group.

Awesome!
This astronaut light protector is incredible. It fills whatever room you’re using it in. My kids first used it in a basement and it filled the whole place. It projects green lights as stars and they fade in and out. My kids would play a game where they would hide from the stars and then move to a new spot when they faded - the goal was not to get “tagged” by starlight by the time they reappeared. They played this for hours. The center of the scattered stars is a swirling, color-changing nebula. You can change the colors. There is a remote that comes with it that allows you to change the color of the nebula and also the speed of the stars fading in and out. Super cool to have around! Makes an awesome night light, too, obviously!

Best looking of my projector lights
The entire family loves the look of this projection light. A space man looking (projecting) the stars and space image on the ceiling. The head of the 'man' is easily adjustable to give the best display from any location. The image is bright, I have the room light off when I use it. It is bright enough to give just the right amount of light in the room and use the computer for work. The remote is handy, I use it to turn the display on and off, never touched the controls on the space man since setting him up. The only disappointing thing about the projector was that it does NOT come with a power brick. So, if you buy this one make sure you have a power brick handy. I used one of the spare ones I have to charge my phone, works fine. Another thing to note is that the base the 'man' stands on does not attach very securely. He just sort of stands on it. Works fine but I think if the furniture the unit is on gets bumped he could tip over. I put a bit of tape on his feet, which gives his fit to the base a stronger grip. Overall though, I'm very happy with this product and plan to buy another for the living room.

Super cute astronaut with cool nebula, odd stars
Super cute astronaut night projector. The nebula options are pretty neat, but the stars are weird to me because they are just a regular pattern of light spots, unlike the real night sky with seeming random distances between and brightness of stars. To me it reads more like disco night than night sky. Also - as others stated - the stars are projected with lasers and the documentation warns not to look at them, therefore my recommendation is to display or house the little guy above eye level. A remote control is included. Looks like a toy, but really isn’t one.

Such a fun toy
The media could not be loaded. My kids are arguing about whose room this is going to go in! The head rotates so you decide where to project the stars and light. Comes with a remote. This has been really fun to have so far!

Neat Little Projector
I really enjoy turning on this awesome projector for my son occasionally to incorporate an aspect of wonder and curiosity to our evening . Very bright , in fact I almost wish I could dim it a bit to use as a soft night light but that is neither here nor there . The projector comes in the form of an astronaut figure and is supported by a base so he stands up right, looks pretty cool sitting on a side table .I also really appreciated the set of about 50 small intergalactic stickers , wasn’t expecting that ( photo of one above )

My kids love it!
The media could not be loaded. It’s beautiful I can’t speak for how long it last but it really is gorgeous. Very relaxing actually makes your feel like your in space the astronaut falls off the moon stand at times but nothing gorilla glue can’t fix it comes with stickers and a remote, powered by AAA batteries. The astronaut plugs in to your I phone or android charger. Not battery operated.

Beware of brightness
I want to start this off by saying I do love this toy but there’s a few flaws and concerns with it.The galaxy and stars show is incredibly bright and vivid. It’s beautiful. I love that the head of the astronaut turns all around and makes it easy to point.I want to caution everyone regarding how bright this is. To the point where you have to be careful walking by cause if one of those laser remotely points near your eye it hurts. I didn’t expect to not be able to look even remotely near where the beam comes out. I see there’s no age recommendation on this and while we bought it for my infant son who loves looking at twinkling lights, it will be a highly supervised display as he gets older to prevent him from hurting his eyes even accidentally looking at the astronaut while it’s on.The removable base is pointless, it can’t stand well without it, it’s too top heavy. And if you have it pointing straight up it will eventually fall over. The cord that came with it is super short which wouldn’t be such a big deal if it weren’t for the brightness so I can’t exactly put it up high on a shelf since the cord won’t reach.I didn’t really notice a difference in brightness and pattern when using the remote but maybe I need to mess around with it more.I do think the quality of this light display is amazing especially for the price and I love watching. I do think buyers should be aware it’s painfully bright even looking near where the light source comes from.

5 year old loved it
I bought this for a 5 year old boy and he loves it. Easy enough to use that he could figure out how to change settings, super easy set up and has a USB cord. The only thing that could be better would be a longer cord.
