Beautiful rug. I was leery of buying sight unseen, but I'm so glad I did. We couldn't even find a 9' x 12' area rug locally, so to find such a lovely rug, and have it home delivered for less than we'd have paid for an 8 x 10' locally (and wrestled it home in our small car) was a super deal for us!PROS:* Size is huge. Much bigger than we could find locally.* Colors are even nicer in person. The edges are a lovely creamy, camel tan-ish color, and the reds are a lovely dark maroon. No fire engine red in mine. It really pops against our dark wood floors. Just gorgeous!* New car smell was minimal, expected, and dissipated within 48 hours - also as expected.* It came rolled, so we rolled it backwards first, then laid it out. It remained somewhat curled for 24-48 hours, then laid flat.* Feel to the touch is nice. Not the best I've ever felt, but I have no complaints. It feels good to walk on, and to wrestle with the kids on.* No shedding that I've seen, yet. Been here for about 2 weeks, vacuumed twice, and kids and dogs love it.* Edges were cut straight, fully finished, and corners are at right angles. All perfect to my eye.* Plush/thickness. I have a deep pile, very plush rug from long ago. It's not quite that thick, but it's pretty good.* Pattern is pretty, lines are somewhat "pixelated" - as 1 reviewer noted, but no more than any other rug I've ever seen. It's not a TV, it's a rug.* Despite the plushness, it does not leave vacuum cleaner lines. I hate that, and this does not show it, so I LOVE that!CONS:* It does feel nice on the foot, but our home is on a cement slab, so the floors are murder on your feet, without padding. We did purchase a Felt pad to go under it. That helps with skidding, and protects the floor from the scratchy, rug backing. Worth the investment for comfort, and to protect our wood floors.Seriously, if it weren't so expensive, I'd order more of the smaller sized rugs. I really love this, and even my hubby, who rarely cares about such things, has commented repeatedly how much it makes the room look so much nicer. He loves it, too. : )I included a shot so you can see ours. Our floors are super dark wood, and the dogs are actually pretty much pure white, so you can tell the colors. I find the real photos of real homes to be much better to gauge how it will look, than the seller's pics. Thanks to others for posting theirs. It helped me decide, so here's mine:

We needed a narrow rug to go in front of our 6’ sliding door. We chose this 6’ runner and are extremely happy with our purchase. We have dark cherry colored flooring and the red/black version of this carpet looks great and is dark enough not to show the dirt tracked in from outside. This carpet does not have a nonslip backing. It needs either a nonslip pad or nonslip corner pads if used on hardwood or tile floors. We tried a set of nonslip corner pads and they seem to be working well. The carpet is shipped rolled and needs to be unrolled and given some time to “relax” the shipping curl. The photo shows our carpet the day after receipt and with nonslip corner pads in place. It looks great and was a good value for the price.

Very nice rug! One this size at Home Depot or Lowe's is about $147. You just can't beat this price, and it's the same quality as every other 5x7 rug I've ever bought. I picked up a 6x8 piece of carpet padding at Home Depot for $25 to put under it as well which makes any rug more comfy (tip: cut the padding one inch shorter all around the edges). Also, to get the curled up edges to lay flat, just lay something flat on them and move the object/s around the edges every half hour or so and the rug quickly lays completely flat just like the picture in a couple hours, literally (books, laundry basket with laundry in it, anything flat works and it doesn't even need to be very heavy).P.S.: In response to another recent review, I just wanted to add that the rug I personally received is NOT thin, and it appears and feels good quality. I HAVE received thin rugs online before, but this one I received is definitely not thin, it's very nice.UPDATE: I later ordered the matching long runner as well and it's definitely not as easy to get flat, and it slides all over the hardwood floors so I'll need to buy some of that non-slip stuff for it. But it's the same quality so I'm happy with it.

This was a fabulous purchase. The rug is exactly as pictured. I purchased the red/cream color. It also has a bit of blue which I wasn't expecting but does not detract from the overall look that I was going for. In fact the colors may be even more vibrant than the picture. Delivery was faster than anticipated. It is also well constructed with a low pile that my kitty cat can't readily destroy. We added an inexpensive, non-slip rug/mat underneath to ensure that it stays put. But, it easily fell into place. We didn't need the carpet tape that some folks mentioned. It's not overly thick but it looks lush and much more expensive than the price. Like many others I searched all over for a round rug that fit my budget. This was priced well enough that I took a chance--much less expensive than the big box stores and other internet retailers. It looks great against the hardwood floors in the family room. I'm ecstatic with this purchase. I will buy from this merchant again.

I looked everywhere for a round rug this size and couldn't find one I liked. They were also very expensive, $300-$500. Finally decided to check Amazon. This rug is everything I wanted! It is soft and plush and the colors are vibrant. It did have some wrinkles when I unrolled it, but I spread it out on the floor and put some heavy books on the wrinkles and it flattened out easily within three days. I purchased a rug pad to go under it but didn't need it; I have textured porcelain tile floors and the rug does not slide or move at all! However, if you have very smooth wood or tile floors you would probably need the rug pad to prevent slipping. I highly recommend this rug, it's high quality for the price!

This carpet is great, for the price and quality, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Perfect size for the living room and the colours look great. Also, it's much softer than I expected. The tan is not as dark as shown in the picture, which is a big relief. I went ahead and bought it after another reviewer mentioned the same thing.

What a beautiful rug! The colours are rich and go perfectly in my kitchen. It looks much more expensive than it was. It was a little curled when I unpacked it, but flattened out quickly after being rolled the other way. Not only did my rug arrive on time, but I was impressed with the great packaging which ensured no damage....a very good purchase.

We like everything about the rug other than the ivory background is pale yellow, not ivory (was expecting off white?)

I love the carpet, but wish that the dye lot had been checked first. One is substantially lighter than the other in the tan colored tones.
