I tried several other poles before deciding to keep these. The Black Diamond Z-poles were my first choice but they only come in 2 sizes, both of which are incorrect (too short or too long) for an average size male (5'10"). These poles are a better length and have a more adjustable range than the Z-poles. Build quality is excellent.

These are great walking poles, sturdy, very light and no rattles. The assembly instructions aren’t good, but a bit of youtube sorts that if necessary. One slight niggle is that you set them for your size, great, but it means that if you lend them to someone who is not the same height as you, they would not be a good fit. Not a deal stopper, they really are good poles, but something to be aware of.

初めてのトレッキングポールでしたが、軽いのをということで奮発しました。ポールを使うことで膝にかかる負担が全然違います。持ち重り感もなく初めてでも使いやすかったです。もっと早く購入すればよかったと思いました。
