A fantastic product for the hands-free adventurers who need to keep hydrated!
I bought this product in preparation to bike 80 miles daily without having to reach down unsafely in order to grab my water bottle. Although I have only used this product for biking, anyone who participates in a long-term physical activity in which one uses his or her hands and cannot carry a water bottle can benefit from the product. When considering what kind of hydration pack you wish to buy, you should consider the affordability, practicality for your purposes, and effectiveness. The TrailRunner 2.0 satisfied all of these conditions with only minor issues.Affordable in comparison to other productsAt twenty-five dollars, the TrailRunner 2.0 is extremely cost-effective. Similar products, such as CamelBak hydration packs, usually sell for over twice the price.Convenient and easy to useThe TrailRunner 2.0 is a very practical solution to getting necessary hydration while on the go. It is easy and safe to use, meaning you can focus more on the journey and less on the logistics. It is lightweight and comfortable. It does not hinder your movements or slide off of your shoulders.Effectivity in hydrationThis hydration pack served its purpose well. While riding my bike for multiple hours, the TrailRunner 2.0 provided me with a safe, hands-free way to access water. This hydration pack has a capacity of about two liters, lasting several hours. It can easily be refilled by pouring an extra water bottle into it. The product does require that you twist open the valve to drink the water, but this can be easily and quickly done with one hand. Although this means that the product is not completely hands-free, this feature prevents the water from leaking. However, the valve can be left open for easier access, as the leaking is mild, with occasional drips. This option would provide you with a completely hands-free way to drink your water.Overall, I appreciated having this product for my biking trip. It provided a more convenient and safer method of drinking rather than reaching down to grab a water bottle from its holder. Because it is safer, you feel as though you can drink more and, therefore, stay more hydrated. This product is a simple, inexpensive solution that will make any bike trip, or other adventure, more enjoyable. I hope you try the Trailrunner 2.0 so that you can benefit as I did.

Update: 5 Stars Overall / 10 Stars Value
Update (original review below): This pack has been abused for the past six months and has held up very well (looks new). I put it through the washing machine recently (just removed the bladder and tied down hip straps) and it came out great. Also, the saddle pack on my bike that I had been keeping my phone, keys and money clip in broke so I started putting them in the exterior pocket of this pack. As you'll see in my original review I originally had some concerns about stashing valuables in this pocket but over time my confidence in the pack has grown and I now have used this pouch to store valuables on may trips without any problems. My only other gripe in my initial review was that the hydration pouch need to be removed to be refilled (and I think a minor design change could alleviate this). While this is still a valid gripe the same holds true for my $$$$$ Osprey hydration pack (note: I choose this pack over my Osprey 95% of the time) and after a couple of times yanking the bladder out, refilling and reinserting it gets really easy so this is a very minor quibble. Why I Purchased: I got this for hiking and biking in TX summer heat. My other hydration pack (an Osprey Talon 22) occupies a much larger area of my back making it much hotter and it has more storage than I need for many trips.Like: By occupying a small surface area on my back it keeps me cool. Also the shoulder straps are mesh which allows them to breathe as much as possible. Sternum and hip straps keep pack in place even on the roughest mountain biking rides. Seems to be well made and I expect it to last a long time. Small exterior pouch can hold a few things. Bladder works well. I like the look of the pack.Dislike: The mesh pouch on the back has an elastic top and there are the elastic compression straps to help keep things secure and I've never had anything fall out. But I also don't usually put anything important in there because I'm afraid I'm going to lose something on rough mountain biking terrain. I would have liked either snaps or velcro to secure the contents of the pouch. If it had this feature I'd be more comfortable storing my phone and keys in there. I'm considering adding some velcro myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. Another minor gripe is that you have to remove the bladder from the hydration pack to refill. Looking at the pack I believe they could have easily designed this so that the bladder did not have to be removed to be refilled.Value: I paid $20 for this with free prime shipping. To get a hydration pack with bladder for this price is amazing. Many bladders cost this much alone. Overall I'm very happy with it. My dislikes are relatively minor. So I give it four stars irrespective of price and five stars when you factor in the awesome price.

Excelente mochila!

Bad smell and taste, even after cleaning.
Even after washing the item as directed, the water smelled and tasted strongly of plastic. I returned it.

Great for the price
I wanted to try running with a water backpack before I committed to a $100+ bag from a specialty store, and my brother suggested this. I paid C$22. It's a bit annoying to fill it up and get the bladder into place without overly bending the straw, and it's further not all that much fun to empty it out and clean it after. A bit awkward. But ... Once you get past setting it up, it works really well. It doesn't leak. I fill it about half way most of the time (1L) and add a bunch of ice. As long as you make sure you let extra air out before closing it up, there isn't too much sloshing. The front pocket (not really a pocket, more of a mesh) is big enough to hold my car key and 2 Gu gels as well as my emergency kit. I could fit my large smartphone in there as well if I need it. I've used this thing for about 12 weeks, at least once a week, and it's been through the laundry once, and still looks pretty new and shows no signs of wear.I will probably treat myself to a higher-end product next year, but this TETON sports bag did not let me down at all. GREAT value for $22, in my opinion.

Ansprechend

Great pack - but low quality water bags.
Great, light-weight pack. But don't bother with the collapsible water bags - they are very low quality and leak.
