Amazon Basics Aluminium Venetian Blind, 100 x 130 cm - Silver

The blinds I had were supplied with hard to remove amazon basics stickers on the front. I had to clean these off before installation. Screws supplied were put in bin and I used better ones. Brackets cheap steel so will distort if tightened down too hard making lock off more difficult. Adjustment of slats is made by twisting a plastic brittle feeling rod and for safety is not string pull. At this price I expected these nuances so a good product for the price but cheap in construction. I'm using these in an office. Always down. Not sure how these would fare being put up and down daily. I would buy again for the price.

Bought two for windows on the same wall. The fittings are quite flimsy, unfortunately one fitting was faulty, and also the slats didn’t sit right, some didn’t glide as they should have, did a replace item on Amazon and it arrived next day. Getting the cord stops adjusted was a faff (drop was shorter than overall blind length). Up and down mechanism is good, tilt wand does it’s job. Overall for the cost they were good value for money.

I bought the AmazonBasics blind in cream 1 metre width version. I wasn’t sure what to expect for this price, but actually I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this blind and how easy it was to install. It probably took about 30mins in total, the longest part measuring accurately where the blind needed to be fitted, the actual drilling and fitting took about 10mins. I’m very happy with this blind it’s great value for money and perfectly functional. Recommended.

I was lucky that the brackets from our old blind was still in place and able to be used, so it was just a simple switch out and this was easy to get up and looks fabulous. I couldn't decide between white and cream and ended up going for the cream and I am happy with it, its a nice gentle cream and just adds a warmth to the window that wasn't there before when we had the white blind. It came in a super easy box to get everything set up, it really was get it out of the box, take the packaging out and slide it in, then I just had to adjust the toggle and it was done. This was so easy to replace and such a good price I am doing the rest of the house now as well.

It's no easy to assemble. Can be done just by screw driver but be easier with a drill. Instructions are rubbish. Missing parts. And not sturdy at all. I don't imagine it will last long as all but it does the job I need it to do until I can find better ones. If you don't want to have to buy again then don't buy these. But if your OK with temporary then these will be fine.
