Hypoallergenic 100% Raw Silk Exfoliating Mitt By The Big Silk® | Naturally Remove Dead Skin and Fake Tan | Suitable For Sensitive Skin

A lot of reviewers have commented that they suspect this isn't really silk because it has a slight rough texture, but that is what raw silk is supposed to be like. It's refined silk which makes the super-smooth material you're used to in clothes, and a "exfoliating" mitt made out of perfectly smooth silk simply wouldn't exfoliate at all and would be pointless.This is only slightly rough and offers very gentle exfoliation, so it would be suitable for sensitive skin which only needs very mild, gentle exfoliation but it's not going to deal with anything more than a tiny bit of dry skin.Silk is supposed to have some benefits for skin, which is why silk bedding is often recommended for skin, but I am not sure that the short time this product would be in contact with your skin would give you those benefits.It's well enough made and I suppose silk is a more expensive material so it's possibly worth the price but it does seem a little expensive for just a wash mitt.I'll use on more sensitive areas of the body and maybe as a final "polishing" cloth for extra smoothness when I've already used a stronger exfoliating product, but I'm not sure I'd have been 100% happy if I'd paid for this product.

Love this exfoliating mitt. I wasn’t sure what to expect of raw silk but it’s just coarse enough to exfoliate without being too harsh on my sensitive skin. It left my skin feeling SO soft and ready to apply my fake tan. So easy to use and wash, already bought one for my sister and will definitely be buying more!

I didn’t like at all it wasn’t as advertised I did everything write but it did nothing. Don’t recommend!

I was sceptical when i got this fluffy mitt. Didn't look as silk at all. When i used it, I didn't see any dead skin parts or something but it helped me with keratosis. Skin is soft and smooth. Recommended.

I read lots of reviews and was really excited to try this product to try and work on my strawberry legs but this hasn't helped one bit after several times using it. Really disappointed.

Amazing really does the job

The material is not appropriate for exfoliating I have had better products for less money very disappointed. It just looks and feels like a very cheap piece of fabric put together as a glove. I am sure you can find a real exfoliating that is hypoallergenic textils.

Idk about others but this product did not work for me. It cleans well but doesn’t take off excess skin or anything.
