We all need to give our bodies support with modern day living and the stresses we put them under with diet, bad habits and overly busy lives gnawing away at our health if we don't act on it.Despite being such a vital organ, the liver never really gets the help it deserves so these capsules, with ingredients geared towards steadying and supporting this crucial body part's harmony and well-being, are a welcome addition to my supplements.Since adding them into my daily routine I have noticed a calmer, easier feeling with my body's energy levels and feeling of regulation, just seeming to give an overall feeling of wellness and balance. Kindly-packaged and ethically-made, they are a nice, if slightly pricey, boost to your body's function and normality.

These bulk liver capsules come in a nice resealable tin and have been working as a great alternative to what I had been taking instead (mainly milk thistle). The ingredients are quite different but I've not noticed any different effect (neither good nor bad).My main issues with these are the price (over £25 per month at the time of review) and having to take 3 of them each day (the recommended dosage) which I've been fine taking but when added to a couple of other supplements I take daily does make it a bit more of a job (but not huge).The capsules were easy enough to swallow whole and did not have any bad smell or after taste so everything is good there.Comparing to what I had before, taking 1 or 2 tablets / capsules per day and at at much lower price - I don't think I will be continuing with these further. They may be a good alternative for anyone that has problems taking other supplements for similar support.

I take prescribed statins ("Atorvastatins") to reduce cholesterol levels and I'm fairly sure that they work and are of benefit.As for these Bulk Liver Health Supplement Capsules, which I've been taking every day for several weeks, I can't say whether they have made a beneficial difference at all.Let me go through some of the primary ingredients:-CHOLINECholine is an essential nutrient that is naturally present in some foods and available as a dietary supplement. Choline is a source of methyl groups needed for many steps in metabolism. The body needs choline to synthesize phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin, two major phospholipids vital for cell membranes. So, no mention of any benefits to the liver there.RIBOFLAVINRiboflavin (also called vitamin B2) is important for the growth, development, and function of the cells in your body. It also helps turn the food you eat into the energy you need. All quite positive, then, but not particularly liver-focused.METHYLFOLATEL-methylfolate is a medical food for use in people who have conditions related to folate deficiency. L-methylfolate is also used in people with major depressive disorder who have folate deficiency, or in people with schizophrenia who have hyperhomocysteinemia related to folate deficiency. Again, not very liver-relevant.One ingredient that is conspicuous for its absence is MILK THISTLE.Historically, people have used milk thistle for liver disorders and gallbladder problems (I had my gall bladder removed 30 years ago). Milk thistle is promoted as a dietary supplement for hepatitis, cirrhosis, jaundice, diabetes, indigestion, and other conditions. So it's disappointing that milk thistle doesn't appear in the long list of ingredients. I would have thought that this would be a must-have in this product - but it's not there.I'm giving it 3 stars for being "okay". There's nothing wrong with it, but it does make me wonder if it'll really be of benefit to my liver.

Normally I like Bulk supplements but I like to stay away from supplements with extra ingredients that don't do too much for the body like bulking agents and fillers. Unfortunately these have bulking agents which I'm not a fan about.Setting that aside, these supplements have a lot going on with them. You've got aged black garlic in here! Black garlic in particular helps with inflammation and can also help with cognitive diseases like dementia. Vitacholine is included for aiding healthy liver function. Glutathione is helpful for protecting against diseases and improve insulin sensitivity too! There's a lot packed in here which can help the body.I can't comment on how healthy my liver has become while using this supplement. It's been easy to swallow and one bottle should last a month. I think it could be good value but I'm not a fan of the bulking agents/filler added.

Bulk has a good reputation, but is asking quite a lot from the consumer to embrace a supplement for the liver without supporting the reasoning, particularly as this is expensive. Twenty ingredients but no milk thistle? A lot has gone into the branding. I have no doubt that it's effective, although I have to say, I can't report any marked change as I take a number of supplements.
