First4spares4.5cm Knob For Casserole & Saucepan Lids

To replace a broken knob on a casserole dish - it was a perfect match.

Replaced the knob on my Le Creuset, which shattered on the oven.I haven't used it since, so don't yet know how heat resistant it is.

Stupidly put my slow cooker in the oven to keep warm, the original knob melted. This is great as it’s heat resistant. A bit pricey but worth it to make the lid useable again.

I am delighted with the ‘Le Creuset’ casserole lid knob. It is almost identical to the official item, but at a fraction of the price.My only disappointment is the the screw is marginally too short, so I have used the old screw from the original knob, but this is marginally too long for the new knob!If you have a replacement screw that is approx 1-2mm longer than the screw accompanying the 4.5cm knob, I would really appreciate a replacement please.Other than that, the handle is very good and great quality.Thank you.

Excellent value. Easy to install replacement for broken old knob. I bought the smaller 4.5cm knob even though my casserole is large - fits perfectly, looks virtually identical to and is same size as the old one. So if your creuset casserole is quite old you may not need the larger sized knob seen on more recent ones.
