BulovaClocks C4899 Clarity

I love this clock. It looks great on the wall. I've had it for 6 months and the time has slipped back less than 5 seconds.

The media could not be loaded. I had 3 choices before deciding on this Bulova wall clock. For its established name, I can be very certain of its quality, craftsmanship and precision of time. Glad I made the right choice after 6 months waiting and looking. I was careful not to be taken by trend, looks and be caught up with issues like it stopped running!What I love best is it’s sweeping seconds hand like my own Bulova Precissionist watch! Absolutely makes it look expensive! For the price it is worth it likely we will enjoy it for many years to come. It will not disappoint you if you are going for simple and elegant, easy to read wall clock. Btw it is real wood, not metal nor plastic, the cover of the dial is not plastic. And my top feature is on it too, they have numbers, not lines, not Roman. Happy I waited!

Clock quit working everyday at noon and midnight. Found that hands were bent and would touch at this time. Returned clock and got a refund...

The Bulova wall clock blended perfectly in our kitchen. It is also quiet and accurate. The clock is well made and relatively expensive, but well worth the cost.

I’ve had this clock for about a month now and it’s working beautifully. It is quiet and easy to read. It is a lovely color wood and it hangs flush with the wall. I’m considering purchasing another as a gift. My Howard Miller that I’ve had for thirty years finally died (someone can probably repair it… so I donated it), but I’m so very happy with my decision to get this Bulova!

This is a great wall clock. It runs virtually silent (no ticking). The wood paneling goes great with my 1983 ugly as all get out brown kitchen that hasnt ever been updated. only complaint is that the clock itself is weirdly thick, like almost 2 inches. It makes it hard to see the face from the angles.That said, thus far its been great. Reminds me of the Bulova clock in my parent's kitchen thats still ticking away and has been since i before i was born 41 years ago.

I wanted a well-made wall clock that was silent, kept accurate time, and was attractive. I read reviews of cheaper clocks that often mentioned inaccurate time-keeping and noisy clocks. I spent little more and felt Bulova was a good name in timepieces. I am VERY pleased with this clock. It is a good buy for the price!

We have a newly painted blue/gray kitchen. I got this clock since when using the oven and microwave we couldn’t tell the correct time. It looks great on the wall and is so easy to read. The wood frame gives a warm look to the bright white face, black numerals and prominent hands.

This is an attractive wall clock by a well-known clock/watch maker. The frame is wood, not plastic! The sweep second hand is quiet, as advertised.

... Thing is, the rest is all standard Chinese quality. The movement is a Young Town 12888 Quartz 0 Jewel (unadjusted), so reliability won't be there in the long run. While the wood frame is well finished, it is made out of 8 individual pieces of wood (claimed to be hardwood but weight says otherwise), so the frame could also be prone to separating as it is only glued together.Unfortunately you really are paying for the name here.
