El curioso incidente del perro a medianoche/ The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Spanish Edition)

Pese al título y la carátula, no es un libro para niños. Quizás para adolescentes a partir de los 14 años. Advertencia: es la clase de historias que empiezan pareciendo algo y terminan siendo otra cosa. Soy autista y opino que puede generar empatía hacia quienes estamos en el espectro. En lo literario: excelente historia, capacidad de suspenso y de sorpresa. Personajes muy bien construidos. A veces me molestaban las detalladas descripciones, pero dado que el libro está narrado en primera persona, se justifican y dibujan al personaje. Para mí, fue un page turner.

Este libro es una novela policiaca, dice el autor, un joven autista obsesionado con la muerte brutal del perro de su vecina. Lei el libro en ingles primero y me encanta en los dos idiomas y lo recomiendo a los padres de autistas para entender los modelos de pensamientos, rutinas, y otros rasgos de la condicion. Aparte de eso, es una novela policiaca y interesa al lector saber mas de quien mato el perro y que va a pasar a su investigador principal por tener que sobresalir los retos de evitar ciertos colores y modelos de carros en su adventura. Es un encanto, este libro, con mucho que aprender y disfrutar.

La perspectiva desde los ojos del niño autista, te hace sentir como si de verdad tuvieras un trastorno.De esa forma es facil entender como se siente la persona todo el tiempo y es logico las emociones que el niño despide despues de cada insidente dentro del cuento.

I ordered this for one of my EL students to help as we read the book as a class. I highly recommend it!

El libro fue interesante, está confuso y llega al capítulo mayor a 200, en cada capítulo habla de algo distinto pero creo que sigue siendo entendible. La historia es buena y no me la esperaba, solo denle tiempo para llegar a la parte interesante y ya no van a poderse despegar.

No es mi tipo de lectura y me provocó mucha ternura leer este libro. Me identifiqué mucho con los personajes, de alguna manera provocaron muchos sentimientos y emociones en mí. Me fue fácil leerlo en poco tiempo.

Excelente narracion desde la perpectiva de un niño autista. No es nada policiaco, pero la historia muy buena. La compra facil y rapida.

The books arrived quickly, but the binding on one of them came loose. The cover and spine separated. Not a huge deal because I can fix it myself, just a little disappointing on a new book.

Muy bien expuesta la problemática .

I bought this almost exactly three years ago (July 2017) on the recommendation of friends who, like me, were learning Spanish. 'It's good,' they said, 'because the language is straightforward and there are few idioms' - which was true, though at the time I had been learning Spanish for only 18 months. I found it difficult at that point, and after three or four chapters had to set it aside. Fast forward three years, however, and with over four years' Spanish tuition under my belt I took it up again during Covid-19 Lockdown in the UK. I won't say I raced through it because that's not the case, but I finished it off between March and August 2020 with not too many problems. So, my recommendations are two-fold. Firstly, that if you have three or four years' Spanish behind you, you shouldn't find it too difficult. Secondly, it's a really good read as a novel in its own right: well-paced, with an illuminating perspective and a touching story that will warm the proverbial cockles, which is slightly ironic since there are no similes in the entire book. Recommended to folks learning Spanish, and a great story to boot.

Me parece una obra muy bien redactada. El enfoque personal y basado en hechos reales le da un aire especial al libro, le imprime una legitimidad concreta a la hora de explicar cómo se siente el protagonista respecto al resto de la sociedad cuando tiene algún conflicto debido a su trastorno del espectro autista (TEA). No hay mejor obra en forma de novela para entender el TEA. Lo recomiendo a quien quiera iniciarse en este tema. Quizás he detectado en algún momento algo de contenido para rellenar, pero pasa bastante desapercibido. En general, es un gran libro.

I continue to make people laugh, to make people feel touched, to make them feel captured by an extremely well-written story, and to make them think differently about autism each time I give this book as a gift. I really love it!
