The bulbs are gorgeous, they are warm and inviting-- BUT they are dim. three of them are barely the equivalent of a nightlight unless there is a shade over them to reflect the light and "share" it....which to me defeats the whole purpose-- they are gorgeous to look at why would I want to hide them? They have been moved to bedroom lamps for a warm soft appearance. The intended fixture was for a ceiling fan for supplemental lighting. I have replaced the lights in the intended location with clear filament bulbs. If you are looking for mood lighting get a minimum of 60w equivalent- and you MAY have a chance. These are merely a glorified nightlight

These were perfect. Just what I was looking for. I was nervous they would be very dim because I had read that about these types of bulbs. But that was not the case. They were perfectly bright.

Great led Edison light bulbs. These are 40 watt lights that only use 4 watts. I love how they do not use hardly any electricity and do not produce hardly any heat. Living in Florida having lights that produce little heat is a most to reduce running ac all the time. Everyone seems to love the Edison bulbs and to be able to have the same great look that is led is awesome. I use Amazon reviews when shopping for items and understand others rely on my reviews. I did find that some of the other LEDs that are higher watts is to bright so these at 40 watts works great.
