larger on the inside
I've had this bag for a week, worn all day M-F, and it has a lot of room without being obtrusive to wear. The photo with the cup (xl dunks cup) and paper (8 1/2 x 11 inches) is for size reference.Moving "top" to "bottom" through the compartments - First photo: showing how items fit in each pocket. Second photo: showing what's in each pocket. Last photo: showing how the bag stands upright.I have made multiple changes to the bag.First to go was the inner padded panel with velcroed strap. This created more room inside the main compartment. I don't carry large devices (ipad) and this definitely will not fit a laptop. An ipad sized device would fit.Second change was putting holes in the fabric to clip retractable reels. If I put things down outside of the bag I will forget to pick them up again. Wallet, phone, keys, hand sanitizer all clipped onto the bag making them impossible to lose. This also keeps them from falling out of the bag while rummaging around for something else.Third change was cutting off the zipper pulls (black rubber tabs) and attaching mini chrome S biners so I can see/find them better.Fourth change was removing the large strap keeper at the top of the outer most compartment. The keeper sits right where the zipper pull is when closed. This makes finding the zipper pull very annoying. I didn't cut the strapping for the keeper, cut just the keeper off around the anchor strap then pushed the strap through the anchor. As a previous commenter noted - the strapping is very smooth. While this is nice to prevent chafing on bare necks/shoulders, this also lets the strap fasteners slide around. I stopped this by opening the strap all the way and just knotting the strap to change length. The items shown for each pocket take up about half the capacity of each compartment. Fully loaded, I can still wear this bag on my chest and drive without it blocking my movements. After many different bags, to wear cross body style, this one has the most room and is still small enough to wear while driving. The angle of the openings helps prevent things from falling out of the compartments when worn. A lot of "cross body" bags have openings that don't align vertically to open while wearing, and stuff falls out. The grey material is definitely water resistant and using orange fabric inside is a must for any bag with multiple interior pockets. A bag easily turns into a black hole without the orange color to find things.TLDR; Excellent bag. Lots of room, many pockets, durable materials, good stitching, thoughtful design. 10/10 would recommend

Looks really cool, performs well
This bag is really well made. the water resistant outer layer has held up well in the rain. The built in usb charger makes sure my phone is always charged and the water bottle pocket is just the right size for me. I really like that this bag has both an inner and outer water bottle pocket. There are a lot of organizing pockets in this bag and it really helps me find what I need quick. Overall a great bag.

Excellent skier's backpack!
This is a great small backpack for skiers who are sick of searching through all their snow jacket pockets for a few supplies. I'm 5'5" 115lb female and it fits pretty well on me (with a few modifications).Pros: It's WATERPROOF! (Like, seams and everything!) The outer material is full rubber. I rolled in the snow with this and water slides right off. It folds flat against your back with a giant roomy main pocket. Smaller side pocket is the perfect size for IDs/credit cards. No-nonsense and minimal form looks great and functions great. I can hold a small water bottle, tissues, battery, sunscreen, and plenty of other things in there and it still folds up neatly against my back.Cons: The front magnetic latch is decorative and unnecessary. It's secure, but a standard squeeze-buckle would have made more sense. The rings to tighten/loosen the strap are too loose and will not keep the strap at the length you want. You'll likely need to tape it in position (I used electrical tape). The strap was WAY too long on me. And, the buckles to collapse the backpack (fold it in half) are useful but in odd spots. The bag doesn't *quite* stay perfectly in half when holding items.Would highly recommend for skiers who want to bring a handful of supplies with them but don't want to bulk up their snow jackets / pants. (Plus, you can just throw this on your shoulder to take into town afterwards!) It would really benefit from another design iteration to work out the details, but so far works great on the mountain.

Sleek looking and manageable
I'm giving this a 5 star rating even though it hasn't been used. I looked at about a hundred (online), and actually bought another one I saw in person. They are both gifts for my daughter, who's traveling abroad with three small children this summer. This one can be worn in the front, along with a backpack. It was a weird smell we hope will pass. The biggest reason I love it is it's sleek, flat look and style. Despite that, the pockets are quite generous. The "concealed carry" pocket is perfect for a phone. This seems clean and organized enough to easily reach for a passport and is attractive. I'm elderly and can't handle a backpack, but I may get one for myself for when I don't want to carry a heavy purse. It's manageable. I think the triangular shape would be essential for me, as anything else would be too bulky. My daughter loved it. (She's also keeping one I got her from Eddie Bauer--bright pink pattern, and perfect to go to the pool or on a hike around home, but weird to travel with.) Mostly, I think the whole concept of these cross body bags is brilliant.

After two years
After two years I’ve got:1. Perfect water resistance2. Perfectly fits into small lockers.3. There is some rust on metal parts.4. Zipper has dead about month ago.5. External strap alway tries to be inside the pocket and doesn’t allow to close it with zipper. In general it’s ok, but I hoped to have it useable for a little bit longer - expect zipper everything still useable but need to either change zipper or the bag.

High quality, great deal
Bought this for my Europe trip and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I like the material, it’s great quality. The pockets are convenient and very functional. I used mostly to carry my photography gear and it worked great. I really like the small compartment in the back. I used it to put my wallet and phone in which feels very secure since it’s not visible to others when wearing. The buckle make it easy to put in and take off as well. Just wish it had a way to secure my tripod and it would be perfect. Buy it, it’s amazing value!
