I've recently tried out these sandals, and I must say they are incredibly comfortable. The stretch system allows me to slip them on without needing to open the strap, which is super convenient. They also have a great look with high-quality stitching all around, giving them a durable and stylish finish. If you're familiar with Ecco sizes, I wear a 9-9.5 in Ecco, and the Alegria size 10.5-11 fits perfectly. Highly recommend these for anyone looking for both comfort and style!

I’ve had these shoes for a year and love them. Just wore them for student tours through Italy and then Spain. Do great over cobblestone, gravel, and wet stone walkways. Walked almost 10 miles one day in Florence and they stayed comfortable! They’re always my go to during the school year. True to size with a little more room width wise. Plenty of room in the toe box. Soles are wide and give plenty of support and feel sturdy on any surface.

These are the best shoes I've ever had. They are really really well made... but besides that, they are crafted. They are shaped inside to cradle your foot. I was having trouble with mashed toes, no support, and walking on the outer sides of my feet all the time. These keep my feet straight. They do not mash my toes at all with the large toe box and the arch is amazing! I had to get used to wearing shoes that were so well made and it took a couple of days to become accustomed to it. The leather is thick and sturdy but the inside is so well made that nothing is rubbing or giving any blisters. They're perfect!

Background- I had extensive foot, ankle , and calf surgery six months ago. I have been struggling to find shoes that I can tolerate. Up until now, the only shoes I can wear are Brooks Ghost running shoes with a heel lift to take pressure off my Achilles tendon.So far, these sandals are great! I am so tired of wearing running shoes with my work outfits. I think these will give me another option. Well made, supportive, stable, a slight rocker bottom with a slightly elevated heel. Everything I need. Awesome!

Great shoe but I have one problem with Alegria shoes - the straps over the top of my foot. I have a very high arch and the strap is never long enough to go over my foot and Velcro to the shoe. One pair of Alegria shoes I took to a shoe repair store and asked them to sew Velcro to the strap to keep it on. They didn't want to do it but I insisted because the strap kept coming loose when I walked. Thank goodness I haven't had to resort to that yet with this shoe, although there is very little strap for error.Alegria needs to address this problem, I'm sure I'm not the only person with the same complaint.Other than that I love the shoe. Plenty of toe room and very comfortable!

When I saw this shoe … I HAD TO HAVE THEM! … I was so excited and ordered them … btw, the delivery time took a very long time of 3-4 weeks … I was so thrilled to see that these shoes came in WIDE WIDTH … unfortunately, I had to order this shoe 3 TIMES …. 1st order : I ordered only to be told by Amazon that THEY canceled my order because they weren’t able to send it even after I waited 3-4 weeks 2nd order : I placed the order again … an 8-8.5 W (US size) and got a size a size 38 (EURO) … I went by their sizing chart … that was yet another 2 weeks … so when they finally came, they were so small, I couldn’t even get my foot in the shoe 3rd order : Now I’ve ordered my third pair in a 9 W (US, a 39 or 40 EURO)… I received those in about 2 weeks … like I mentioned, I went by the sizing chart and many reviews before even attempting to make this purchase to begin with … once the final pair came … I was absolutely heart broken … I loved the look, the feel, the style, the color, the arch support … all of that was perfect … but now with this being the 3rd order, and I had to order up because of being a half size … now it was too long in length! The width was better in a size 9W (US) but because the shoe was then too long, I couldn’t keep them … I was afraid I would trip because of the length being too long which made the fit loose on my heel … the toe of the shoe would curl up even more ( if you notice, the shoe already has an upward curve on the toe area) ...Now either I have an extremely super wide foot or their idea of wide is different than American sizing … I do know I can wear an 8.5 W in American brand shoes just fine … anyway, I did have plenty of room in the toe width now but now length was the determining issue … so if you have a short, wide foot, this shoe may not be a fit for you … waaaa!

This company makes the most comfortable shoe that I have worn. They even beat Vionic. Once you wear a pair of this company’s shoes you will not want to wear anything else. This is a fun shoe which reminds me of my childhood. I have it in red and bought a brown pair too. I also have their clogs and a pair of black shoes, blue shoes oh wait, I need another style😎

Arrived in a completely plain brown shoe box. No writing, no size identified, nothing. Went to try them on and can barely even get my foot in the supposedly 9W shoe, my normal size. Returning and I will get my Allegrias elsewhere.

The Fisherman's Sandal is my favorite shoe. It's basically the only one I wear except for church. My only wish is that you would once again sell the one I bought first of all, which was the Bronze Easy. Now I can't find that one anywhere. Will you ever make them again?- Rosanne
