Worth the money!
This is our go to paring knife now. It's great quality and extremely versatile. My boyfriend and I both use it and we like the balance. With this knife and a good chef's knife you can meet 95% of your cooking needs. It holds an edge really well. We couldn't be happier with it!

Best knife I own
It is the best knife I own, and I own many good knives from the likes of Wusthof and Zwilling and Sabatier and even Chicago Cutlery and Dexter and even the brilliant Chinese slicing cleaver I use for jointing whole chickens. It is razor sharp out of the box, well-balanced, quick, firm in the hand, and also it is nice to look at. Expensive for a paring knife, but this one defines the breed.

Good Wusthof paring knife, great value
I ordered two of these paring knives. They arrived on time, were sent the day following order placement. These are very sharp knives. We have had a block set of Wusthof Classic knives which were purchased over several years. Our first one was purchased about 20 years ago, and our set completed three years later. Since then I have purchased sets for each of our 3 adult children and one very close friend. I purchased these two paring knives to always have a spare on hand, and one for a gift. Marvelous price! My pics show one knife boxed as received, one new knife out of the box, and our original Classic after 20 years use. My only concern is the handle bolsters. With a magnifier it appears that the black material used has pores, as wood has. The description does not detail the material used as many other knives in the Classic series do. I expect to get many years out of this new paring knife, and we'll just see if there are any future issues. It stands up to hand washing and drying very well. I do not subject my knives to machine washing.

This is the very best
I purchased this knife, not as a replacement, but as a companion, to the same knife I purchased 33 years ago. The first knife is as good as new and the new purchase was made because the number of food preparers in the kitchen required more than one knife. I highly recommend this knife...it will last a lifetime.

Still my favorite paring knife
This replace the same knife that went missing after having a large number of house guests (I suspect the original got thrown out). Still my favorite paring knife.

A good knife.
I have bought three of these, two as gifts. It has a good heft and is sharp and easily re-sharpened and honed. Everybody likes them, as they are superior to your garden variety of kitchen knives. Honestly, my mother and aunt have some of the same knives we had over 40 years ago, and complain they don't cut!

It is not real Wusthof knife
I bough a real Wusthof from bed bath and beyond 15 years ago and still remain good and sharp for mounts.I bough this one from Amazon and it is not look real. It won’t stay sharp for more than few days. The red Wusthof sign on the handle is a sticker and not built in sign. It is a fake Wusthof. As I said real German made Wusthof way more better than this.

Disappointing
Disappointed. Average. Not Very sharp, label on handle worn when received. I wonder if this was a used knife that was returned and sold as new.

Worth the money
Excellent quality. With kitchen knives you get what you pay for, making these classic Wusthof knives excellent value, particularly when you consider you only need this and the chef's knife to cover most common food preparation tasks.

Excellent
I like the shape, solidity and keen edge that I can keep on this knife. It has a useful curve to the blade and handles the small items comfortably and efficiently. It also has classic good-looks. The Wusthof Classics seem to confidently earn their good reputation. If you're able to hone it every so often, and maybe sharpen it on a stone yearly: I can't see its usefulness wearing out. This plus one of their 8" chefs knives will cover most all domestic kitchen eventualities with ease if you look after them. However, if you just want a pretty good knife to throw in the dishwasher and then replace once it loses its edge; you're could probably save a few pounds and be just as happy with, say, a Victorinox.

It is SHARP!
It is reasonable value for a good knife. I'm not used to sharp knives, having put up with rubbish ones for years. I sliced the top of my finger off with this, even through the nail! So, it's sharp. Hope it stays that way! I also bought their sharpener so it should have a good life!

Great knife
I needed to replace my knife and swithered given the price. However I am not disappointed. The knife is great and very sharp. Expensive but worth it.
