Scam alert - I received a used card, the back of the fans are caked in dust. I bought 12G-P5-4877-KL, 12GB GDDR6X but received a 10G-P5-3897-KL, 10GB GDDR6X.

i thougt that the price was fair considering the shortages but now that i recived it and know its not a 12 gb i might return it. The listing says 12gb even on the picture, title ,description everything. i got scammed

Man what a card. I’m coming from a 2080 super right now and paired with a Ryzen 5600x CPU. Reason I got the card was I was getting about 35-50 fps on Microsoft Flight Simualtor running at UW 1440p and I had to tone down some of the settings to get it to run that way. In general it was serviceable but if I ran into areas with live weather and lots of clouds it was almost unplayable. Started right up with the 3080 12gb version and my Time Spy score went from 1100 to above 1600. I was able to move almost all settings to ultra on MSFS and I’m getting close to 60-80 fps even in live weather conditions. I was able to undervolt the card and bring down the watts by about 40 or so and keep similar performance. Card temps run around 73 degrees at max usage and my case is known for bad airflow. More than I wanted to pay for a new card but I feel like I’ll be set for a while.

evga 3080 12GB FTW3 is an amazing gpu, realiable, stable, low temps, low noise, nice looking, overpriced as of march 2022 standards but since it will be my next gpu for 6 yeras long really worth it, whoever dares to have the money go for it...
