Comfort
These ear buds were exactly what I was looking for! I have been using Bose sleep buds but really wanted something to listen to my own music. These allow me to do that. In addition the app will sense when you fall asleep and start to play white noise for you. They work perfectly well without the app. I listen to soft music all night to drown out my hubby’s snoring. If you are looking for sleep headphones and prefer your own music/meditations I highly recommend these buds.

Why so expensive?
I have no idea why these are so expensive. They are not noise cancelling, they are not comfortable and basically do not have any advantage over a $20 sleep mask with built in ear buds.Returned.

Not Worth the Price
The app is not updated to iOS 16 so it doesn’t track sleep data since Apple release. The waves/surf Sound disappeared from their Library. Comfort of wearing these at night while sleeping may not work for many as they take getting used to. Sound cancellation is not as effective as others I have used. I can’t recommend until they fix the app and the Firmware update, so don’t buy if you think these are a sleep solution for you. Disappointed so far

They work and are extremely comfortable!!
I have been searching for comfortable, noise canceling sleep buds. I have tried Bose Sleep buds, Sony nightbuds, Quiton buds. Nothing worked - either too uncomfortable or didn’t block noise. I am sleeping so much better. Tried to order directly from Kokoon but they are not in stock and can’t say when they will be even though they charged me immediately. I complained to AMEX and got my money back. Was so happy to find them on Amazon.

Horrible experience. Earpain unbearable.
Very disappointed! I've tried a dozen sleep bands, sleep ear buds, etc. This was my last resort. Since Covid I suffer from almost unbearable Tinnitus. These cause horrible ear pain! Unbearable. It is also my understanding they do not offer replacements if you lose an insert. Seriously?Grossly overpriced!

Good for falling asleep to podcasts
I am a side sleeper who falls asleep better when I listen to a podcast or guided meditation, but those both keep my husband up. These headphones are very comfortable and let me fall asleep listening without keeping him up. They stay in well and the battery is enough to last easily through the night, though they don't completely block out noises like snoring. I haven't been impressed by the sleep tracking; I petty consistently wake up to a message that the sleep tracking app thinks I've removed the headphones, even though they are still in. However, since the sleep tracking is at most a bonus for me, I'm not really bothered. I do sometimes find when I first turn the headphones on the sound is choppy, but restarting the headphones fixes the issue.

Not a good fit
I sleep on my side with earbuds in (perhaps it's worth mentioning that I also have a buckwheat pillow). Those of you that have tried the same know that you can't do it with just any earbuds. These claim to be good for all sleepers, so I was confident they'd do the trick. The first night I was underwhelmed by the fit, even with the different tips. I saw some people say they had to take time to adjust. Unfortunately, this didn't help. In fact, after a few nights of sleeping with them, the part of my ears that make contact with the earbuds were in considerable physical pain. I stopped wearing them for a week until my ears recovered, then gave them another try. Same deal. Now they're collecting dust.I will also point out that every night I used them, the ear tips came off, which was pretty annoying.I have no gripes with the sound quality, and I never tested the tracking. If your situation sounds similar to mine, try the MEE M6 Pro with their Bluetooth adapter. I've been sleeping with wired M6 Pros for like 5 years and just found out they have a Bluetooth adapter. Not only did I have a better experience with the M6 Pros, but I also paid considerably less than half the cost of the Sleepbuds.

I can sleep with these, no problem!
Purchased via original crowdfunding campaign. I'm a side-sleeper and find them to be 100% comfortable to sleep with. Not sure how many other earbuds have this feature but one I use a lot when listening to podcasts during the day is the 30-second skip function - double tap the +/- buttons to skip forward or back.

Really comfortable headphones for sleep
These Kokoon Nightbuds are great. I listen to audiobooks before bed and sometimes relaxing music to help me fall asleep.I am mostly a side sleeper and was looking for something that would disappear in my ear and something without cables to get tangled in so I could fall asleep with them in.The buds which go in your ears create no pressure at all, and when rolling from side to side, I can not feel the rest of the earphones either.Setting the buds up is very easy through the My Kokoon app on your phone (I have a google pixel 6). After opening the app they recommend you charge them for 1 hour before first use. But then it is a simple process of pairing which I had no issues with. There are 5 different sizes of ear bud tip to choose from, I use the medium tips which fit me well.It took me a couple of attempts to work out how best to put them into my ears but this soon becomes second nature after a few go’s. There are helpful tips and diagrams in the app too.Once they are paired up you can listen to any apps on your phone, Audible, Spotify, Youtube etc all work seamlessly. The My Kokoon app also has quite a lot of relaxing soundscapes and meditations already loaded into it.The sound quality is very good, it is crisp, and is comparable to my nothing ear 1s which I use during the day.My girlfriend has borrowed them a few times and would like a pair too. We were both impressed with how little sound leaks out of the side, so you can listen to them while your partner is asleep. The buds come with a slim carry case that is really helpful to put them in when I travel. Keeping them protected.Overall, I am really pleased, and would recommend them to others.

Good idea, buds need better cushioning
I love the idea of these, especially being able to layer relaxing sounds from the app while still listening to YouTube or your own music app. It's crazy that in 2022 most Android phones still cannot do this themselves (I think only Samsungs can?) However, the following make them rather disappointing:- Battery life of 10hrs is optimistic. A shame since being headband earphones usually allows better playtime with extra area for battery cells. They'll just about get you through a night's sleep. Perhaps if the company would redesign them to support the new LE audio standard and LC3 codec would help both with audio quality and battery life.- I'm sure these are comfortable for some, but no matter what combo of bud/wing size I use I end up with sore ears. There needs to be a bit more cushioning to these, and the red sensor at the bottom of the right ear bud just causes a lot of soreness & pain the next morning.- It's occasionally recording me as asleep when I very much am not, cutting my sound out. I then need to look at my phone and play around to get it all playing again, resetting my attempts to fall asleep. You *can* get around this by turning the automatic volume reduction off, but that then means you're playing stuff into your ears the entire time (battery, also seems like a sledgehammer approach).- App seems a little unstable after extended times, dropping your audio, dropping its own audio, thinking you are no longer signed in, or just disappearing and needed to be restarted.I can see these really making a big difference to someone's life if they sleep on their side and need sound to sleep, if the different earwings fit comfy when your head is on the pillow. Maybe use the returns policy if you find it hurts. If you dont sleep on your side I'd recommend the over the ear 'Relax' headphones instead.

Product unable to be repaired.
Bought the nightbuds Aug. 2022, and was reasonably happy with product. Forward to Sep 2023, nightbuds stopped working. Contacted company and offered to pay for repairs since guarantee had lapsed. I was informed by the company that they do not do repairs or supplies parts. Nightbuds now destined for the garage.

The only earbuds I'm able to sleep in
I've long been on the lookout for a pair of headphones or earbuds that will block out noise and still let me sleep. I sleep mainly on my side in bed so I've found everything too uncomfortable up to now.The Kokoons are more than worth the money. Although there is no active noise cancellation, there is no need for it as the fit is fantastic - they fit flush so there is no pressure on my ear when laying on the pillow. There are loads of different sizes of tips included so once you find the right fit the rest of the world fades out. I will say it took a week or so for my ears to get used to having something in them all night, but now they feel completely natural.I often use them as standard Bluetooth earbuds (the secure fit also means they can double as headphones for exercise etc.), but the companion app also comes with a soundtracks designed to help you sleep. I am not one for generic white noise but there are plenty of other options - I settled on the rainstorm. The app also provides a lot of other benefits including detailed sleep tracking, which identifies each stage of sleep, and has identified a worrying lack of deep sleep time for me!All in all, very happy that I've bought these and I suspect I'll be using them for a long time to come.
