I hired my 70+ year old neighbors to put this together for me and they finished it in about 3 days without additional help. I am several years younger but too lazy to take on such a job. They commented several times on how well made the materials were and how well all the pieces fit together. They were also impressed with the components provided used to anchor the canopy. I have dirt with gravel on top and the anchors that were provided were plenty sufficient to stabilize the unit. I'm in Central Ohio and we usually don't experience very strong winds. The white trim that's provided also adds a nice touch making the unit more attractive.

My order was for a carport that is 10ft x24ft x9ft and on the out side of the box is states there is a 10ft x15ft x7ft inside this box. The crate is in the middle of my patio and over 500lbs to move and the pick up is scheduled for a week from now

I have a feeling, if a massive storm hits, this will be the only thing left standing. Even without ground anchors this unit is sturdy. The size is perfect for my use. And even though I didn't have an open area to assemble it, I found it reasonably straight-forward to build. I would recommend a person be well versed in the use of hand tools, particularly battery-operated drills/screw guns. That will make it easier. Also, edges are sharp. Instructions warn, but I'm adding my own warning. Using protective gloves is a good idea.
