Easy to handle, the size is excellent. My brush and razor stand sit inside it nicely, saving space on the storage shelf. The bowl cleans easily. My parker brush is delicate to balance on the handle, but it does work.

Then why do you not already have this thoughtfully designed, well crafted lathering bowl?It's got friggin' heft...I mean it's a solid piece of ceramic shaving kit. It's definitely well crafted, beautifully glazed, ergonomics are great, size is ample, but not over-done. Unlike mugs, and some bowls, is just deep enough to keep your lather contained, without needing a brush with a longer loft (I like using the same brush all the time, and it has a shorter loft). Like all ceramics, if you like your lather warm, this bowl retains heat nicely. It has well designed ridges, so it helps coax a good lather out of almost anything you can throw into it. Yes, it has a hole in the handle, and a handsomely finished underside - so if you hang it, it still looks pretty cool; nobody wants boring shaving stuff strewn about their bathroom walls.Get a better lather, and you get a better shave. Mr. Fine has this absolute gem of a bowl in their lineup, and it's worth YOUR time to give it due consideration.
