This is exactly what a family member wanted and he got what he asked for.

The prequels had sure generated a lot of debate and criticism over the last 20 years plus now. Thankfully they've started to enjoy a well justified reappraisal in more recent years since Disney bought the franchise from Lucasfilm in 2012 and the sequel trilogy was released fully by 2019.There so much to like the prequels. They are fun films and each one is different. Plenty of jedi action, cool villains, imaginative and sometimes breathtaking landscapes, superb set pieces. Jake Llyod and Hayden Christenson were just fine. The sometimes somewhat difficult dialogue not withstanding. I don't blame them so much when even Liam Neeson and Natalie Portman could struggle with it sometimes.Episode I is very much a beginning to the story. No galactic war or empire to be seen here. But the story ends up being a pivotal element in what eventually will go down in the next two films both directly and indirectly. Even QuiGons death is a very big blow to our heroes fates going forward, particularly Anakin.On balance I actually prefer Episode II by a little ahead of the other two. The atmosphere and the story for me is at its most interesting here. Episode III is obviously where it all goes to hell and its a great conclusion to the trilogy.Highly recommended. In my opinion q far more satisfying trilogy than the sequels of 2015-19 despite its weaknesses. Here we have an actually INTERESTING and ENGAGING story. Get that?!

I'm a big fan of both the original and the prequel trilogies. I had both of these already in DVD format, but I always wanted the Prequels in Blu-ray. The sound quality is excellent and picture quality is great also (worth noting that these films were made in the early 2000, and I believe the effects have aged well). The outer case is made from carton and gives the pack a premium feel. I recommend this to all fans of the prequel trilogy who would like to own the movies in physical format.

Saw it said “region free” and looked into it as much as I could, no solid evidence one way or the either. Took a chance and it paid off. Plays in my regular LG player no problem. Hopefully it works for more US customers as well. Super happy to have this.
