Good for the price. Easy to use.
I found that the product worked well. I went to my local pool place, and they gave me a reading of 800 for the phosphates. The strips worked fine. There was maybe 7 different examples for checking the color. In the end, it was not on the low side..........and it was not in the middle...........it WAS more to the high side, which BTW, was around that same 800.... possibly 1000.It's tough to use the strips and try and EXACTLY match a color. So, my take is to just eliminate - no, it is not on the low side.............no, it is not in the middle............yup, it is more like the high side. That works for me, for sure. If you are looking for an exact number, then go to the local store. BUT, do keep in mind that it is in THEIR best interest to show you a HIGH number, so you buy more Phos Free product! AND, i must say it cost 2x the cost from Amazon for the chemical.I almost deducted a star due to the expire date of December 2023, and here we are in June 2023. And, it was manufactured in 2021.But, it did work fine......Overall, I would buy again.Update 06/06/2023: Customer service reached out to me, with apologies for the stale date package. They shipped me a full replacement!!! Wow, THAT is true customer service. THANK you!!! Can't give them more than 5 stars!!! ha.

Product worth the money!
I recently purchased these for my reef tank as my corals seemed to not be doing so good. Ater testing my water with these test strips they showed my tank had high phophate levels. Thanks to these test strips I was able to save my corals. Highly recommend these for anyone that needs to test for phosphate as they are very accurate and easy to use.

Great price! Useful for spas and hot tubs too!
These test strips are half the price of the ones marketed for hot tubs, so whether you have a fish tank, pool, or hot tub this product is a great value. The test strips are just as accurate, and most multi-purpose test strips for pools and spas do not include a phosphate test. If you use a salt water chlorination system, the first thing you need to measure and balance is the phosphate level of the water, but startup kits only give you 2 test strips. This product is what you need.

NOT FOR A SALT WATER HOT TUB!!!!!!!!!!
I used these test strips as it is instructed for my salt water hot tub. It always read that the phosphate level was low. I got a second brand of phosphate test strips (Freshwater Phosphate test strips) that the hot tub repair man used & recommended. The reading with the Freshwater strips were TOTALLY different and showed the phosphate level topping out at 2500 (dark blue) = very high phosphate level. So these strips are VERY inaccurate because the phosphate count was TONS higher than it read on this brand but showed a low level... They're completely inaccurate for a hot tub. We threw them right in the trash. Total waste of money for the hot tub.

Excellent phosphorus reading
Reads phosphorus levels in water. Easy to use. High Phosphorus levels in pools increases algae growth. Keep it low. Test a few times a year. Especially after large rain storms.

Easy to use kit!
This kit comes with 2 vials for collecting water sample and a lamented comparison chart to check the level of phosphate in pool water. The 100 test strips stored clean and dry inside of a plastic bottle with lid. Seems to be accurate test for what I am using it for.

Very hard to read
After using this product for a couple of weeks, I'm going to give it a thumbs to the side. I don't think I can recommend it, for anything beyond knowing if your tank has too much phosphate. You won't be able to get an accurate reading, as you only have 5sec (according to the instructions) from the time you do the 10sec shake it dance, plus the 90sec wait around period, until the color of the liquid keeps changing...While you're trying to match it to a color chart, it seems to still be changing colors. On top of this, your reading will be pale blue if there is absolutely no phosphate present, pale blue if there is some, pale blue if there is too much, and only begins getting deeper blue if there is like 10x too much. You just don't get a good reading, from this. This is one of two reasons I dislike matching colors to charts. The colors don't actually match (printed vs transparent liquid) and colors that are still changing... 🫤What I can say is that this is a barely-sufficient product to know whether or not you need to do a water change, based on phosphate levels. What you won't know is how much of a w/c is needed. 🤷Also, the 'test strip' is physically too long to fit in the test tube, they provide, so you have to let the strip bend. If you bend it the wrong way, it pushes-up against the side of the test tube, and doesn't get good water exposure (the reason for the shaking procedure). Just not a good effort, on their part, in my humble opinion, as a tech writer for aquatics blogs and groups.
