It’s a nice weight, sometimes silk fabric bought sight unseen is too thin. I am using it to reline a Chanel jacket and line a St. John jacket. The silk is the right quality to use in these top-end jackets.One side is satin, the other is duller but with a slight sheen. I like the dull side for casual jackets so I was glad to see that it looked really nice.I wish it was available with lyrex but cutting on the bias gives it a good stretch in the sleeves.Very convenient to buy in pre-measured lengths because the delivery is so much faster than cut to order.

It's a much more muted color than what's pictured in the item description. Closer to a lilac. Not the deeply saturated purple I was hoping for. The fabric is so thin and sheer it won't work for my project. I'll have to put it aside and hope I can find another use for it. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this material.

Needed silk to make a scarf and this material was perfect. Very good quality and I would order from this seller again.

Exactly as pictured. I love the finishing on this one. Exactly the color I was looking for. Will order more. the fabric might be too slippery for some people as it's silk.

I purchased the pink silk and the color is simply beautiful. I am ordering more of the pink.
