Noyafa makes 3 versions of this model. The NF-8601A includes the main tester and the remote end. The NF-8601 includes the main tester, remote end, plus the tracer (probe). The NF-8601W includes main tester, (8) remote ends and the tracer (probe).

Thank you for your question! Yes, it could detect length when shorts and will help you find the short circuit place, it will detect length on wires with different diameters no matter how thin it is.

Q: Are the remotes for hunting cable? Can I plug the remotes into 8 wall ports and then use the receiver to hunt cables?

The hunting is doneusing the Main unit with the Receiver/probe which can only trace 1 cable at a time. The 8-Remotes are labeled 1-8 and are attached to 8 wires at one location then, the Main unit will display remote’s number. Example – If you have 8 cables at the router going to 8 different locations then attach the “Remote end” to each wire at the router. Take the Main unit to each location and the display will identify the remote end’s number. Or, you can reverse the process by attaching the remotes at each location and identify each cable at the router. Kip

Potrzebowałam przetestować przewody RJ45 około 100 sztuk, to urządzenie okazało się niezawodne. Działa fantastycznie szybko i nie przekłamuje.Jedyny minus to brak krotkich około 5-10 cm kabli RJ45 aby był kompletny. Niestety widzę że u wszystkich producentów z tym problem jest. Więc aby działał poprawnie i móc testować do 8 gniazd jednocześnie potrzebujesz zaopatrzyć się w 9 kabli RJ45

De software in de tester kon handiger, maar de tester is prima bruikbaar en doet in veel opzichten niet onder voor mijn veel duurdere professionele testers.

Poor quality

Stopped working after a few months. Sellers want you to jump through hoops to repair it yourself rather than replace. Their comment was it’s not practical to give me a replacement. Avoid all together

Urządzenie nie warte żadnych pieniędzy

Miernik działał dobrze przez pierwszych kilka użyć. Chwilę później bateria bardzo słabo trzymała, a jak już działał to w zasadzie nie działał. Przy każdym pomiarze wyświetlał informacje, że kabel nie jest podłączony lub jest zbyt krótki. Dosłownie w każdej funkcji, poza generatorem tonów. Stanowczo odradzam bo nie jest wart żadnych pieniędzy.
