The answer is YES - EACH can hold that weight. So multiply the stated load capacity by the number of brackets and that is how much total weight can be put on. So the weight scales directly with the number of brackets. Straightforward mechanical calc. "Texas Homeowner" is only half right in that regard.

Q: Is there any worry about the lumber falling off? This will be mounted on the wall next to where a car is parked.

I’ve had this mounted on the wall in my garage for a long time and have never had any indication that anything is going to fall off. Of course it has to be properly installed and don’t overload it. Also stack the lumber properly. Is there a chance?? Of course there’s always a chance something might happen, an earthquake, tornado, something. 🤷🏻♂️

Q: Can you buy just the vertical posts? I could use a couple more.

I was unable to find just the posts on Amazon.

Q: What is the difference (in inches) of each set of arms?

All three arms are the same length.
