Modify it to make it work
I bought a 2 gallon version of this can at Dollar General for less money and to make it far less annoying I took out the spring in the spot and tore off the part on the cap keeping from opening. Holds the gasoline in and does not leak.

You get what you pay for
Yes. It's small and inexpensive. I needed this for my chainsaw gas. The safety nozzle is so complicated and difficult, you need a third hand to operate it, if it works at all. After half a day of frustration and fighting with it, it broke. Not too sad. Now it's just a simple gas nozzle. I would recommend a replacement non-safety nozzle of you purchase this and save yourself the stress.

Difficult to operate safety features.
Requires 11 to 13 pounds of downward force to open the valve while trying to operate the safety latch. Difficult to fuel chainsaws or string trimmers. Would be best on a heavy vehicle.

Leaks, leaks, leaks.
This thing is a complete safety hazard, it leaks from the opening where the cap/spout goes , no matter how carefully you adjust the cap it leaks . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY . A plastic milk jug is a safer option.

Awful. Complicated. Leaks like crazy.
I have just done battle with this gas can. I am wondering how to safely dispose of it. Before you buy go online and see the instructions for use. The "fix" that was suggested for leaking did not work, The "hook' that is supposed to start the flow of gas and keep the spout in place slips, This means that a safety gizmo must be reset each time it slips which about every 2 seconds---meanwhile it is leaking. Did I mention the safety cap from h.ll? Don't waste y our money.
