Assembly is quick and easy, even for someone not at all technical. The only tool you will need is a small Phillip's screwdriver to install four AAA batteries. Everything else clicks into place. The fabric seat and hanging toys remove easily for washing. Instruction book is helpful and easy to follow. Controls are all together and are intuitive, with a speed control, a timer, and a music play/pause button, the first two with indicator lights, as well as a slide button for locking the swing in place. Big gray release buttons are on each side to release the swing for folding when not in use.

Package had a damage to it . The toy part that goes over keep falling off once installed. Overall came on time .
