Not as thick as anticipated
Bought this to make thermal window covers for my motorhome. Easy to cut and did the job well but was thinner than expected.

Easy to cut and fit behind radiators. Helps prevent heat from passing through walls.

Effective
We have used it to shield the heat from the radiators being wasted on the walls. We have installed it and it goes behind the radiators easily and with the help of some support structure can stand stiffly behind. It definitely makes the rooms a trifle warmer, I guess. I am yet to see the effect on my energy bills.
