I must admit I've often turned up my nose at all these little packs, figuring good ol' fashioned dish detergent was good enough for anyone. But our dishwasher detergent drawer keeps sticking, making the basic detergent next to impossible to use, and rather than replace the whole washer right now I just needed something I could drop in the silverware basket.Now, I've always liked Cascade, so these packs seemed to be the logical selection. I'm very pleased at how well they work! The combination of gel and powder allows for great scrubbing and icky stuff action, leaving my dishes looking great without any weird residue. The price is right for this selection and I will continue to use these!

We try to be eco-friendly and live a non-toxic lifestyle but after numerous attempts at trying to find dishwasher detergent that can't cut the mustard I have totally given up and go with Cascade completely. I figure that the apple cider vinegar I use in my rinse dispenser as well as the natural organic food grade citric acid that I gently dispensed on the bottom of my dishwasher will help with any toxicity created by using Cascade I have tried various permutations of different products because we have extremely hard water here and my daughter who is 10 helps with the dishes and does not remember to scrape the food sometimes and I have a son who also put things in the dishwasher with food the only way to combat these issues is to do the three things that I described above this is what has worked for our family and Cascade is an intricate part of the solution as a Prime Pantry item it is very affordable here on Amazon

These pacs are easy and awesome! I used to buy the cascade gel, but was noticing a white powder residue on some of the dishes. I bought jet dry thinking that may have been the issue, but it wasn't the residue was still there. I ordered these to try something different and they rock! It's an all in one!Pros: super easy, no mess, clean greatCons: if you do not be sure to dry out the area where your pac is placed, it may not release the pac properly. The water makes the outer coating stick to the dishwasher canister. If I know water got in that area, I will take a paper towel and dry it out with hopes it will release completely for a proper clean with all the powder (not 3/4 of it from being stuck)Love these pacs! will not be going back to powder/gel! I absolutely love using the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs dishwasher detergent with Dawn. They are great at getting your dishes clean the first time around. I thought my dishwasher was broke at one time, until I was asked to review the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs dishwasher detergent with Dawnt. All I had to use is one pack and I was hooked. All I did was put it in the dishwasher and start the load running. My dishes came out cleaner than ever. I also like the fact that they smell good too. You do not have to prewash your dishes and it clean stuck on food in one wash. As you can see by the picture below, one of the plates had been ran through the dishwasher with my normal detergent, and the other one had been ran through with the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs dishwasher detergent. The one on the right is much cleaner than the one on the left. I will not be buying anything else but Cascade products from now on. Instead of my usual rinse aid, I know I will be using Cascade, as well. I trust P&G products because I've been using them since I was young. My mom and grandmother always trusted them, so there's no reason for me not to. The triple action chamber provides the best cleaning for all your dishes and helps prevent hard water filming so that your silverware and dishes sparkle. Love the way its more convenient to purchase online these days that at the store... This product is a good product we already knew that.. The size was not super small and the price was right.. I know this is more of a boost for Amazon than the product. But really, The only way you could go wrong is if the image made the container look bigger than reality and be disappointed when you opened it.. But not here.. this is a real size for a competitive price and it was here in just days.. I will be ordering again when I'm down to about five and it will get here before I'm out!. Don't hesitate, nothing to lose buying online.

It's the pack of cascade that keeps on giving. I usually buy the smaller packs (because they fit in my grocery cart), but now I find I am doing dishes all the time, so I run out so quickly. These pods are so great. You just throw one in, and push start and that's it. The scent is perfect and my dishes are just as clean as if i poured liquid in or used a powder. The larger container is a little harder to store, but i made more room because it saves me from having to reorder all the time. With the option to get these at Amazon Pantry, now i don't have to make room in my cart. Love it!
